This is a restaurant at the train station specializing in seafood. The restaurant name means squid (calamari) restaurant. Great place for a meal. The service is excellent, lots of choices, and if you need help, they have a great window display.
Our family enjoyed a meal here. Ordering from the tableside screen is convenient, but it can be easy to miss your order as it comes around. The sushi is good & inexpensivee and I was happy to get to try the internet-famous shingen mochi (water droplet cake).

We like Kappa because the sushi is good & very reasonably priced. The kids love the train that brings our special orders and I appreciate it coming direct vs rotating by like other conveyor sushi places in town. The other reviews of this location are outdated as the no photo policy has been disbanded, and wasabi is always on the side or clearly noted in the menu.

I've eaten at Kiku Zushi several times in the past year. It has become one of my favorite restaurants in Misawa. The food is reliably delicious, fresh-tasting, and attractively presented. Service is very good. Without exception the waitresses are friendly, helpful, and patient with non-Japanese speakers. Decor is typical Japanese. One can dine at the sushi counter if solo or in individual rooms with sunken tables if with a group. Prices are very reasonable. The dinner sets contain large amounts of food. Folks with smaller appetites might consider ordering a la carte. The restaurant is a direct three-minute walk from the main entrance to Misawa Air Base. I recommend Kiku Zushi to anyone hungering for fresh sushi and tempura served in an authentic Japanese restaurant.
The restaurant is small and cozy with a long bar along the front wall looking into the large tank of fresh fish!! I have never experienced my food watching me before I ordered it, but it was reat fun! Expertly prepared and beautiful to see - even the shrimp were dancing with excitement! A group of us went in and we got more food than we expected at really great prices!! Best bet for dinner is here!!

A bit pricier than my usual sushi spots, but certainly fresher as well. An English menu is available, and the belt was fully stocked when I went mid-afternoon. The total adds up pretty quickly when the good stuff is Â¥400+ a plate - but itâs worth a splurge! The scallops were especially tasty.

Not only the tourists, local people also visit this market. There are various big seafood. The scallop is bigger than babe face. The clam is larger than fist. The oyster is longer than forearm. The tiger prawn is longer than foot.Vendors are polite and pro. The seller helped to clean the clam and open the oyster. As dinners, we just need to find a place and BBQ. Table fee is 350 yen per person which is more expensive than tore tore. One of the most happiness moment is to watch the seafood sizzling on the BBQ pit. Dinners donât need any rice, the seafood can feed us full. The price is competitive. Iâll visit it often if Singapore have such a wonderful seafood market.
