Have eaten here a number of times over the past couple of years. It used to be very consistent, however the last couple of visits the food hasn't been quite as good as previously. We will try it again on our next visit to Friedrichshafen, though if it doesn't improve it may well be the last visit.The one plus now is that they do accept UK cards, as previously for some unknown reason there machine would only accept German issued ones.

As a regular visitor to Bregenz I tried this new restaurant with my friends. At first, we had high expectations with the nice interior but it went downhill from there. The waiter had limited knowledge of the menu, the portions are very small and highly priced compared to other restaurants in Bregenz. We ordered a bottle of wine and the wine was put in a wine cooler near to our table but the waiter didnât get the wine to top up our glasses. After finishing our meal, we were not offered a desert menu, coffee or the bill. We struggled to get the attention of the staff despite them not being particularly busy.

Seitdem wir an dem Bodensee leben dürfen, gehen wir immer wieder hier ins Restaurant Prantl zum Essen; das Essen ist prima! Alles frisch und lecker zubereitet; immer wieder saisonale Karten (Wildkarte, Spargelkarte). Heute waren meine Frau und ich dort Mittags zum Essen; wir hatten Spargel- Schweizer Art (mit Rösti, Sauce Hollandaise und Pilzen); was soll ich sagen? Spargel top, die Sauce Hollandaise ist die Beste , die ich jemals gegessen habe, auch das Rösti unübertroffen. Alles frisch zubereitet. Meine Frau hatte den Spargel-Vinaigrette (toller Salat mit Spargel, lecker angemacht und zubereitet).Service nett und aufmerksam.Preis- Leistungsverhältnis absolut stimmig.Daher uneingeschränkt empfehlenswert. Man sollte allerdings reservieren, da das Restaurant immer gut besucht ist.

We were there for a late lunch but decided on coffee and cake instead. It was great views on a warm sunny afternoon.Plenty of parking available and easy to locate next to the camping place.

We have been travelling around Germany for over a week now and this is by far the best place that we have eaten. It's a really lovely , informal and relaxed family restaurant. From the very start the owner welcomed us with a big smile and made us feel completely at home. The food was absolutely first class: fresh fish, fresh produce and great wine, not to over reinforce the really warm welcome we received. I cannot recommend this to you highly enough. This is a must-go for fish lovers!

We returned to the pizzeria after a long absence, and discovered that the pizzeria remained excellent, tasty food, professional and smily service, a great atmosphere and very good value. Not only it not spoiled-it had even improved. As usual we enjoyed ourselves and as usual we will return. Highly recommended.

a hotel restaurant but for everyone - we arrived without reservation and were lucky to get a table out on the terrace right in front of the lawn and the lake - beautiful. friendly service coming in and out. good food. above moderately priced for sure but quality is fine. overall a good experience and to be recommended.

Cheff welcomed when we arrived at there. He is famous person at here. Location, building, table,,, particularly meal, everything is perfect, even small piece of vegitable. Here is one of the best restaurant in Germany I have ever visited. I recommend to enjoy for your special day with your family.
