This is a cut above most of the other restaurants here, with the owner showing her attention to style, detail, quality and sheer friendliness of welcome. We came on a wet and almost cold night when the outdoors was closed, but the view and setting on a sunny day must be top rate. Starters were excellent. I think we ordered wrongly for mains, getting the two biggest steaks ever seen (due to being fed up with the same old routine in all of the other restaurants) - but whilst they appeared great at first, they didn't have anything like the quality you'd get with something like a florentine steak in Italy. Other diners mainly had fish, all of which looked very good indeed. So it's five stars for the sheer quality of the restaurant, for the welcome and service, and for the pleasure of dining here.

As a member of CAMRA (the British real ale group) I was thrilled when we found this quirky little place. The guy's ale knowledge is impressive as is his collection of treddle sewing machines and weighing scales. Nice to be able to drink something with taste as opposed to the usual cold gassy Mythos etc.

We visited Muses having been here many times on our holidays in Lourdas. Unfortunately Muses is only open late on Friday nights. We enjoyed cocktails and milkshakes and lovely Nadia treated us to a lemon liquor. Service and Gardens are excellent as always.

I have been visiting for years, and it never changes, from a very warm welcome, with iced water, to the terrific setting, not to mention the food. The home made food is to die for, we had drinks and cheesecake, which was so good, it spoiled our dinner. I can recommend both the black cherry cheesecake, and the baked pear cheesecake, both stunning, if somewhat large!

If you are staying in or around Karavados, Happiness is worth a visit. The food is very good and not too expensive. Whether we visited on an off day I don't know but the welcome and attention of the staff was lacking - unlike in many other tavernas. There were several cats hovering around, with one deciding to vomit something that it had been fed at another table at the side of ours - the staff didn't notice - we had to go to find a member of staff to pay the bill - I guess we were just unlucky. You decide.

Not sure about this place. Owner was overbearing saying 'you've not tried my mousaka etc etc' whenever we mentioned anywhere else. Turns out his pastachio was nowhere near as good as Happiness taverna and feta cheese smelled and tasted off. My partner if cod which tasted funky and had stomach ache next day. So can't really recommend on any level other than having a beer soaking up the view although can do that at tavern bar opposite where we much preferred the owner!

Gefiri features a great menu with lots of options, even for the picky teen-agers!
The traditional Greek menu is supplemented with a fabulous pizza selection.
The steak was enormous, it filled the plate and it wasn't a small plate!
Seating outside was spacious with a great view of the mountain Ainos. The chilled red wine worked very well but the beer was great as well!
We thought the food was well worth the ten minute walk, highly recommended!

Very friendly service. Great place to go and watch the world go by on the square.
Good draught beer just right on a hot day.Plenty of other choices and always free crisps, nuts, breadsticks etc. A welcome addition to Spartia.
