The exact location of Bhiwandi is 19°17′48″N 73°03′47″E / 19.296664°N 73.063121°E / 19.296664; 73.063121. Bhiwandi city, the headquarters of the taluka of Bhiwandi, comes under the administration of the Bhiwandi-Nizampur City Municipal Corporation. The city is part of the Greater Mumbai metropolitan agglomeration. According to the 2011 census, the total population of the Bhiwandi-Nizampur Municipal Corporation area was 709,665.

Do stop by at Nisarg Garden restaurant and bar on your way back from Nasik or Shirdi when approaching Kalyan. It's an ideal stopover for a short break for refreshments, lunch and drinks. Do ask for the tawa fry Pomfret and chicken bhuna - the latter is cooked with keema. The restaurant is clean, the service is snappy, the steward suggests food so it's not wasted. Cost for a couple - approx Rs 1,000.

We had gone to Darar's Dhaba with very high expectations. But the quality of food was extremely average. They served some mediocre starters like Bhewda Chicken followed by main course which was horrible.

This is one of the finest and best hotel in Bhiwandi. It is centrally located near Dhamankar Naka and still a must have tea meeting place for many. It offers Indian, chinese south Indian food and have separate section such as AC, non AC family etc.

This place is located on the highway en route to Nasik OR Shirdi from Mumbai or Thane, this place has very huge sitting for their customers so lots of people can accommodate at any point of time and enjoy your snacks or meals, the name Udipi is for specialized for south Indian snacks and meals, the taste of the food was very good and the rates are also reasonable, so is their quantity of food, the ambiance of this place is also good, will definitely like to visit again..

The most famous thing for food in Bhiwandi are its Dhabas, and from them the best dhaba i find is Swastik, it has the best food from all the dhabas which are around it, It is very well made and there are things for the kids to play. its named dhaba cause it has the concept of a dhaba but is has very much of a restaurant thing, the only difference is, since it is adapted from the dhaba ancestors it is much of an open thing. It is open for Dinners only.

Green House Cafe is a fairly new Restaurant situated right on the Mumbai Nashik Highway, just 5 kms after you pay the toll at the Padgah Toll Naka while driving from Mumbai to Nashik. You can’t miss it, as it is a large place with good signage & a large frontage as well. As the name suggests, it has a lot of greenery all around with plenty of plants all over, that make it look very nice. There is ample, safe parking & they also have fairly clean toilets with separate washrooms for Men & Women. There is an outdoor Seating area which is very nice & there is also an indoor Seating area as well. The waiters are courteous & helpful, the service is good & fairly prompt, the food is tasty & the prices are reasonable too. This Restaurant truly fulfills the long felt need for a good Non Veg place on the Mumbai-Nashik Highway. It is owned & managed by a Defense Officer's Wife who is always around to ensure that the place is managed well. They have a fairly large menu offering Indian, Punjabi, South Indian, Continental, Chinese & Local Snacks as well, but their South Indian is not as good as what you get at Shiv Sagar or at Vithal Kamat’s in the Food Hub which are not too far away, so can be avoided. If you are looking for a decent Non Veg Breakfast, Brunch, Lunch, Snacks or Dinner, this is the place to stop at. A must visit especially for Breakfast whenever you are driving from Mumbai to Nashik.

In today's world we need to move towards peace away from City traffic and pollution. I would personally suggest all to take a break and have dinner at Nawab dhaba.
With great ambience and proper touch of a classic Indian traditional dinning with ample of sitting. And impeccable food which is value for the money.
Worth a visit and value for your money for amazing meals.

Sidhu Da Dhaba is a Large but Basic Dhaba on the Mumbai-Nashik Highway and is opposite the popular Shangrila Resort & Water Park. The signage of this Dhaba is not very prominent, so you need to look for it the first time that you visit, or else you can easily miss it. There is ample Parking outside the Dhaba, so that's good. There is plenty of Seating inside & there is also an enclosed Family Area, which is fairly decent. There are Wash Basins & Toilets as well, but no soap is provided. The Toilets are also not too clean, but usable, if you have to. They have only Veg & Chicken Dishes, but no Mutton or Fish Dishes. All their preparations are made in their Special Masalas, which are unique & very tasty. The waiters are knowledgeable & guide you well, the food is always freshly prepared & tasty and the prices are very affordable, so you get very good value for money. The service is however a bit slow as there are limited wait staff & you may need to remind them to bring things from time to time. Their Chicken Handi & Chicken Kalimiri are their Specialities and are indeed very good. They however do not have a Bar & Drinking is not permitted in this Dhaba. A very basic but nice place to visit for a meal when driving down from Mumbai to Nashik.

Shawaya Dhaba is the first Dhaba in the town to start with unique way of great ambience which is so spacious & amazing Seating arrangement.
If you are crazy about authentic cusines, than this is right place and a paradise for food lover. Try their starters of lots of options and Mutton Haandi which no other Dhaba has that taste.
I have been to most of the Dhaba, if you really wanna enjoy the real Dhaba food than Shawaya is the right place. I would recommend all to visit to enjoy the meal and take a break from busy city crowd.
