Il primo pensiero che ho avuto appena arrivata ad Augusta è stato venire a Sortino, la patria del pizzolo , nello specifico nella pizzeria che a mio avviso fa la pizza ed il pizzolo piu buoni mai mangiati in Sicilia, e detto da una Napoletana doc è una garanzia credetemi . Stasera poi abbiamo avuto la fortuna di capitare nella serata del karaoke davvero divertente , siamo stati benissimo , ovviamente come sempre siamo stati accolti dalla gentilezza ed estrema simpatia della padrona di casa, attenta ad ogni cliente , cosa non da poco perché pur non essendo del posto, ci si sente a casa tra amici . Che dire delle pizze fantastiche assaggiate stasera , una delle quali merita qualche parola in più , ci è stata suggerita proprio dalla padrona di casa, una MEGA delizia, dovete provarla, la buonissima pizza Sofia una prelibatezza di materie prime freschissime ed un accostamento di sapori unico nel suo genere, come solo qui si può trovare, ma c e solo l imbarazzo della scelta tra le mille proposte che ci sono nel menu , ogni volta è difficile scegliere le mangerei tutte per l originalità e la bontà del prodotto , ma a dirla tutta anche solo la pasta della pizza vale il viaggio ....prezzi onestissimi insomma appena ritorno a settembre sarò di nuovo qui ....

Best Pizza this is the Institution for Pizza making. Sortino is the breading ground for Pizza makers.Anybody looking at learning must work in sortino to learn. This place is rated as the best. Yum!!

In principio Cesare inventò il pizzolo, poi aggiunse il ripieno e allora tutti lo copiarono a Sortino e oltre....Oggi è impossibile trovare una tale varietà di pizze, pizzoli e ripieni in qualunque altro locale.Il menu sembra un libro che ogni anno si arricchisce di un nuovo capitolo.Difficile leggerlo tutto e allora fatevi consigliare e andrete sul sicuroVi consiglio di prenotare perchè il locale non è grandissimo e si rischia di rimanere senza posto

We had a family-oriented dinner featuring a dish I've never experienced before--pizzolo. The best description: a baked pizza crust sliced in half and then filled with a variety of delectable ingredients. For the main meal we had several different varieties: pizzoli stuffed with roasted vegetables, cheese and ham and combinations of these fillings. For dessert we had pizzoli, too! These featured creamy lemon, nutella and pistachio cream. The atmosphere is relaxed and friendly. What a treat!

Arrivato in questa pizzeria sono stato colpito sia dal grande parcheggio sia dalla grandezza (e anche la bellezza) della località . Il personale è stato molto gentile e premuroso, chiedendo ogni tanto se tutto fosse andato bene. Sinceramente con la pizza non mi sono trovato proprio al top e il conto era più o meno ok. Quindi lascerò un 4 stelle.

We dined from the anti-pasti buffet as a light lunch. Well, it was meant to be 'light' but it was SO delicious that I'd have happily eaten myself immobile. All the dishes were freshly made. My mouth's watering as I write this description, in recollection.The meals being eaten by other diners looked good - if only we'd been staying for longer in Syracuse!!!

Top notch hosting, accommodation and food in an idyllic location. Cannot recommend highly enough for those who enjoy local food, wine, landscapes and freedom. Locally renowned pizzas and other Sicilian food on the menu are all explained and no service is too much trouble. Cycling around here is very pleasant- less traffic than around cities.

We were treated to a terrific meal here right in the center of town: a delicious baked cod appetizer was followed by another dish of black squid ink risotto and a white fish risotto. The lightly grilled cod covered in pistachios was specially prepared for us. Don't miss the opportunity to dine here!
