Pontoon boat was a 2020 and in exceptional condition. The lake is awesome and the kids had an absolute blast. Staff is very helpful and friendly. Overall this is a great place to rent a boat from and frankly if you’re visiting the area, you should make this part of your trip. Our kids had such a good time in the lake we regret not doing it last year.

We stayed at the Resort . The front desk is also the place where you book your tour or boat. They were very efficient and friendly. They had a nice selection of fishing boats, Kyack and pontoons.

We had an outstanding experience with Lighthouse Pointe Marina. When we reserved our boat for a specific day, Brad called us early that morning to warn us of inclement weather. He reminded us we could move our date to a better day if we liked. We did, and it turned out to be the best day on the lake. The pontoon boat was super clean and well-kept. Brad and Blue (from the Marina) were extremely hospitable. Definitely the best price for a pontoon rental on Douglas Lake; and even better, great customer service.

I have had a boat at Painter Creek for many years, as one of the nicest docks on the lake it offers most any boating or camping, fishing supplies you could need. The restaurant offers great food at a reasonable price, they have live music in the warmer months in their out door area and the people are warm, friendly and helpful.
