Casa Gherman offers a wonderful rustic wood cabin. Initially we were afraid that because of the wood it would be colder inside, but we were pleasantly surprised as over the night everything was warm and comfy. Most of the rooms are upstairs and the cabin has a common living room and kitchen with basic things. The biggest advantage is the proximity to the salt mine, specially if you come here for the health benefits. One big minus of the wood construction is the noise as you can hear every single foot step. It is not a very big problem if you are upstairs, but downstairs you will notice it. (we also had a room downstairs)

I'll be short: Cons: I couldn't find any Pros: -nice and clean -very well priced -situated in the touristic area of the city -walking distance to restaurants and terraces -its own parking place Definitely a place where you can spend your nights if you're in the area.

We have visited the resort for a weekend with more work colleagues and their families. despite the very nice location and well designed places. the management and the interaction with them is terrible and so is the food (frozen things mostly and no real chance of mixing side dishes with main course). on top of all, you need to pay to access the pool, despite huge price of accomodation and we could not find any wifi hot spot... definitely a no go in the future.

good location, far away from turda salt mine, you need a car. no AC in my room, clean room and pension.the price differs from period you go, in july was 150 ron.quaiet room but a lot of muschido if you open your window during the night.

We booked a room for one night since it is a few minutes driving from the salt mine. The room was clean, very comfortable. There is a shared kitchen but we were the only guests then. The owners were amazing, very nice and kind to us, they went over and beyond to help make our stay enjoyable including offering us a homemade alcohol :) Very nice backyard with two beautiful cats :) I highly recommend this hotel for anyone visiting the area.

Location is ok, near Turda, personnel was communicative but: -the bar and restaurant were looking in poor condition. could not serve anything -the room was with old stuff, small and poor organized -the bathroom was small and very very dirty
