Foreshore Promenade

When in Warrnambool you just have to take advantage of the Foreshore Promenade - it is a great walk, but it also stimulates the senses - the aromas, the seaspray, the sun, the surf, just a delightfully maritime experience...

Djerring Trail

Reviewed By SLYYYK

Regularly use the trail since it has been created. Very flat which is ideal for riding. Easy to get on it or leave with the regular road crossings, but has sections large enough that it doesn't feel like constantly stopping.

Reviewed By 619jeffry - Essendon, Australia

The Tan, officiailly known qs the Tan Track, begins at the Pillars of Wisdom near the Royal Botanic Gardens. . The Tan circumambulates the Royal Botanic Gardens. It's a mainly a gravel track, 3.8 kms ( around 2 1/2 miles) in circumference. It's fairly flat, with a small gradient , enought to make it interesting. Anticlockwise is popular, but it's up to you. There are water fountains along the way. Everyone from Olympians to weekend joggers run the Tan; everyone is welcome. By the way, ask your concierge where to go, the Tan is just over Princes Bridge, it's walking distance from the Melbourne CBD. There is no pressure on the Tan, set your own pace. The current record is just over 10 minutes, set by a profesional footballer.
