This summer I traveled to Mexico, I tried the Mexican food for the first time and it was not bad at all.. But the best food I tried was the pizza of pizzeria Pacciarino in Xalapa the capital of Veracruz state Remind me the flavors of the pizza in napoli where the pizza was invented.I will not sugest to fly to Xalapa to try the pizza but if you are around is worth it a few hours driving

Vadiró´s is located in the heart of Xalapa, on Hidalgo Street, not far from downtown. The place has a marvellous view of one of the most legendary parks in the city, Los Berros. The building has a Spanish colonial influence and is beautifully decorated. V

I had the home made ravioli with crab meat and a spinach sauce. It was excellent, and reasonably priced. Washed it down with a couple of glasses of the house nebbioli, which was Spanish. Thought that the atmosphere was good.

This restaurant seems to be wildly popular, but I have been several times and am never overly-impressed with the food nor the service. The waiters are nice enough, and the food is good enough - though not always consistently good, but it's certainly not worth the nearly hour-wait on busy nights to get a table. For the price and ambience, Italiani's (a popular chain here in Mexico with similar prices).

Pasamos 3 dÃas en el bello Coatepec y como el lógico comÃamos en los alrededores del parque Hidalgo donde hay varios sitios para comer y tomar café pero caminando rumbo a nuestro hotel vimos un pequeño lugar lleno de gente y decidimos entrar ... vaya sorpresa ... comimos delicioso, encontramos pastas, carnes, pescados y comida mexicana, sabor muy rico, buenos precios y excelente atención, muy cerquita del parque Hidalgo (2 cuadras) sobre Jiménez del Campillo, se los recomiendo

This was my first trip to the restaurant where the "original" Giovanni re-opened (many are familiar with the Giovani´s in Xalapa, which I believe is run by his daughter). The pizza is made in a traditional brick oven and was PHENOMENAL! They also had "agua de manzana", which is an uncommon flavor, but was natural and delicious. There is ample seating and friendly staff. If you're in Coatepec and feel like pizza, this is your best bet!

Since I only live a half block from La Lola Xalapa, their delicious pizzas are also available in their very attractive pizzeria in Coatepec. The best!

The crust is kind of like a 1/4" stiff-hard souffle Sauce and topping has flavor un-like any pizza I've had on 4 continents. All I can say is I'd never order it again.
