Reviewed By lynnyb44Great place. Highly recommend you stay here. I booked direct and got a great price and Motel got all fees. Lady is absolutely lovely and accommodating So helpful. Turned aircon on so room nice n cosy when we arrived. Huge parking area Grounds look nice and well kept. Inside room smell fresh and are clean. Very spacious rooms. Comfy beds Happy to have our dog stay. Would I stay again. Hell yes!

Reviewed By OffthematWhat a surprise. We didn't expect the room to be so big when comparing to other motels. Very comfy. Had everything you needed including microwave and a good sized fridge. We asked for top floor so we could sit outside and enjoy the view. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Bed very comfy. Our stay here just enhanced our new love for Tocumwal. The Motor Inn is located well and close to the river, shops and park but quite. Would certainly stay again. The only negative was a couple of cobwebs and the pool didn't seem to be very clear. Though in saying this, they were also running the pub next door and Covid may have impacted on staff levels as were a few business in town and other areas.

Reviewed By LynkkkkValue for Money, we had everything you would normally get in a **** 4 star room, the beds were very comfortable, room was spotless, shower was the best motel shower ever and Sally was very friendly and helpful. We highly recommend the Bakery Park Motel for anyone wanting to stay in the Tocumwal area. This motel is also within easy walking distance to the center of town and the Murray River. (my age is 70)

Kanimbla Motor Inn is conveniently located at the start or end of the Newell Highway(depends where you are going). The property consists of 20 rooms with configurations ranging from double rooms up to family rooms sleeping 5 persons. Hotel facilities include free Wi-Fi flat screen TV Air conditioning outdoor pool ample parking for larger vehicles(side entrance). We have recently added a secure garaging facility capable of securely housing up to 20+ motorcycles. The motel is only a short 500mtr walk to the Murray river and is close to a hotel and dining facilities. We have recently taken over the property and would love to welcome you Ian and Judi Mc Cann

Reviewed By Roma3161Enjoyed our stay here. Clean and spacious with a homely feel. Comfy bed, hot showers and quiet air conditioner. Nice little touch was the jug of fresh milk for our tea/coffee. Close to eateries and town centre.

Reviewed By Crystalline4uI stayed in a family room here... the lady who greeted me effusive in her greeting. She showed me to my room expressing surprise that I was (in her words) in such a big room by myself. Initially I had no idea what she meant, but once I looked around the room I remembered that the family room had been all that was available. It is not big, but for a country motel it affords the necessary area for families. It's an interesting place to stay because it is a budget motel... whether it is signposted as one or not. It's located off the Main Street that means it's quieter for guests, but it is walking distance to everything you will need. I could not get TV reception here and the lady working here gave me her tablet for the evening which I really appreciated. Although I had misgivings because that may have been her only entertainment for the evening. Still... it was lovely that her customer service was so exceptional. My guess is that they are doing this place up as they can afford it. The linen was good, the kitchen cupboards were good... but sadly what let it down was the mattress. I feel that you can forgive most things in a motel if you can get a good night's sleep... and whilst I slept... I woke up stiff. The towels however, were utterly magnificent and would put most motels to shame. So the question is- would I recommend it? I think it does well for a budget motel... I feel that the owners have care for the place and are doing things as they can. So, if you are looking for a budget place to stay... then this is a good option.

A large covered entertaining area with a wood fire and gas heating BBQ and micro wave, fridge and all crockery made this a wonderful motel for groups.

Reviewed By kimbD2277JIWe were picked up by a courtesy bus, from our cabin in Tocumwal. Peter was a great help with local knowledge. We arrived to a beautiful place with well tended gardens & lovely staff. Even with the extra COVIDSafe requirements, we were looked after. We were able to sit and enjoy a drink overlooking the golf course. Our shared platter, followed by our fisherman’s basket & S&P calamari was delicious, cooked to tender perfection. We enjoyed a barista made coffee & biscuit after our meal. Then to top it off,we were delivered back to our cabin in the courtesy bus. A lovely meal in a lovely town.

First impressions awful, rooms better than expected!

Upon arrival I had wondered what I had done booking this place that was slightly out of town in a back street, severely overgrown with weeds, grass, broken branches etc. It looked horrible. Immediately was thinking I need to find somewhere else for the weekend stay as what was represented online was not what we arrived too. I decided to check the rooms first, given all we really needed was a good bed, shower and air conditioned room. Was pleasantly surprised by the standard of the room. Beds were good, shower serviceable and air conditioning exceptional and worked overtime given 40 degree weekend. Disappointingly we went for a swim Sunday and pool area looked like it had not received attention for many weeks/months. The undercover area looked runned down and the pool area needed a clean. Went to use the dart board and as I opened the cupboard, was greeted with a red back spider!! So first impressions of the place will turn people away, but if you just are looking for a bed and shower that is quality, then its reasonably priced and better inside than outside.
