Great location but lacks comfort
Reviewed By margaretsI6292SGWondeful location and views, but clearly something has happened to this hotel. Room dirty, shower inadequate, lumpy ancient pillows and room in need of decoration. Staff friendly and standard of food very good however. Need to check your bill for 'extras' and 'errors'. 3 star standard but could be 5 star with some detergent and a mop, and a regular cleaning schedule. Feels like it needs a manager and some modest investment.

Reviewed By profjoypcWe were back here once again after a year away and delighted to report the maintaining of consistently high standards. The view from the balconies over the surrounding area are tremendous as my photos show. Maria is a perfect hostess - nothing is too much trouble for her. Bedrooms are clean and welcoming and guests can use communal refidgerators which are on each floor. Breakfasts are superb - with a great array of fresh fruit, breads, cheeses, meats, cereals and eggs cooked as you would like them. Overall this is a truly excellent place to stay in a quiet corner of Gozo with walks on the ta cenc right outside the door.

Reviewed By Pam RWhat a sunning place to stay! 450yr old farm house with all the rustic charm, comfy warm beds (it's cool at night in March) stunning modern shower room. Everything spotless. Loads of options to sit outside; in the courtyard, the terrace, by the pool. Hosts have the perfect balance of friendly, but not gushing. Great breakfast, and great value for money. Never been to Malta before and Hooe to come again, but ouldn't stay anywhere else.

Went for a relaxing holiday and ended up next to a roadworks project!
Reviewed By J4084HWjohnzThe location of hotel is in the core of a small quiet village in Gozo, Malta. the Hotel room was relatively comfortable and clean. However, the facilities for my wife to be able to apply makeup, such as bright lights in the bathroom, etc. were lacking. Room cleaning was regularly done in the mornings and room facilities listed were there and functioning. Reception service was via remote control as the front office desk was almost never manned and one had to call a central office via a phone. breakfast was served in an adjacent restaurant using a printed menu with a shortlist if item choices. However, not all items were available every day such as fresh fruit. Service was average at best. I liked best the room and location, but the mediocre breakfast and the digging noise from outside the front door of the hotel from 9 am until 5 pm, were very frustrating.
