Great stay in a small palazzo and truly enjoyable small town.
Reviewed By Marie-ClaudeandBobWe chose the Palazzo Mattei as a half way point, overnight stay, in our two day trip by car from Lecce returning to Burgundy. We were also looking for something close to San Leo which we visited the following morning. The Palazzo Mattei was a wonderful, off the beaten tourist track experience. Travelling the small roads to Novafeltria may leave you wondering what you are doing, but the diversion was definitely worth it. The palazzo is in the center of Novafeltria and is being restored by the owner, an architect who fell in love with the building and is now renovating the property. There are currently three rooms in the main building. The "rooms" are more like small apartments, spacious and pleasant. The palazzo has its own gated parking area which is a major plus. There are two restaurants in the town, both within walking distance; the more renowned of the two, however, requires a reservation in advance as it was entirely reserved by locals when we arrived early evening. The breakfast was good, the owner was pleasant and very willing to talk about the building, her work and the town. All in all, a great stay. San Leo is just 10 to 15 minutes from Novafeltria.

Reviewed By WoutstIncredible value for money, great serving staff and huge, incredibly thin and tasty pizza! The risotto was so good my mum finished her plate and my dad thoroughly enjoyed his burger! Worth it, and make sure to make a reservation in high season!

The B&B Le Velle is an old house set in the countryside of Valmarecchia and not far from the most beautiful countries of the Montefeltro: Rimini, San Marino, Urbino... It’s a very nice area, with open spaces, a great landscape, quietness and relax. Three spacious and confortable bedrooms with bathroom and every morning breakfast with local products.
