Old city in Center Italy, near Appennini mountains. Only this is worth of a trip. If you add that the you are on the route of the old road from Rome to the Adriatic sea (Flaminia), here we are. Oh, don't miss the old and beautiful town (full of churches and museum), and the central plaza, in which you can drink a good coffee. In the shops, you can find traditional food too.... If you are travelling in central Italy, don't miss this place.

Writing a review about the entire Old Town feels a bit odd - but I think this is truly of the most beautiful Old Towns in Italy. The town was mostly built in the XV and XVIII centuries and is full of squares, churches, palaces, narrow back alleys, porticos, steep and winding streets and picturesque views. Palaces, churches and houses made with local bricks and the many university buildings form an amazing and compact urban area that is still not completely overwhelmed by tourists - if you take the time to walk around and explore.
