Desde febrero 2016 me comencé a ocupar en el tema de controlar mi peso. Para ello ocupaba modificar mis hábitos alimenticios y en cuenta los lugares que frecuentaba para almorzar. Fue asà como descubrà Escarola y ahora lo visito al menos una vez por semana para el almuerzo. Para comer ahà o para llevar indistintamente. Cuando tengo poco tiempo nada más llamo y Juani o MarÃa ya me tienen la comida lista cuando llego al lugar. Tienen un gran surtido de ensaladas, wraps y sándwiches, además de una cámara frÃa con surtido de bebidas light. El único aspecto un poco negativo es que el parqueo es bastante limitado pero bueno, la salud bien vale la complicación de a veces parquear en la calle.

San José does not offer a large option of good soups, maybe due to the warmweather or not so sure why, but theirs definitely not a soup culture here.Pho offers yummy options and healthy ones as well.Lots of veggies in good broth.Try other good Vietnamese dishes, really nice.Unpretentious and very inexpensive at least for this side of San José where every meal seams 30% more expensive than on the east part of the city. Thank you very much for your feedback . This is exactly what we strive to be is a friendly, comfortable place with real food. The restaurant we were just in was the one near Plaza del Sol in Curridabat. The first 2 plates we ordered with pork meat we had to return because the meat tasted like it was spoiled so we opted for a vegetarian bowl with just one egg, tofu and cashews. Underwhelmed by the taste and quality in general.Overpriced for quality, could have eaten a much better meal almost anywhere for that price. I never complain about price but today I felt I was robbed . I did comment to the staff who were very nice but of course they have nothing to do with the prices. The receipt below is what we were charged for 2 people.

Recommended the hamburger, I visited this restaurant often and the last time the hamburger received was "cold", the waiter said that will replace but he did was to "reheat" the one received and the bread was broken and missed parts. Really disappointed for the good service received in past visits, but this time was really bad. I did not want to complain due to the time and the company because was dining with my wife.The service was not good, this is the true. We´re really sorry for your bad experience, For Leño y Carbón, customer satisfaction is the main thing, and that is why we ask for the most sincere apologies, sometimes situations happen that get out of hand, but our effort is that each customer and each service, is of the best quality. If possible, we would like you to make amends for your next visit, if you would be so kind as to give us another opportunity.

Fresh, American style Tex-mex food. Quick service, affordable prices. Fooseball, darts, beers and booze! A great place to grab a burrito, tacos, rice bowl, salad or nachos! Also serving Costa Rican style bocadillos and healthy (or not!) acai bowls!

What a wonderful restaurant! It is clean and the service is amazing. Their burritos are delicious....we had chicken and pork and both loved our meals! Lots of options to make it your own. Would be great for lunch or dinner. Family friendly. They have dart boards and TVs. I highly recommend stopping here! We will definitley be back!

I am a fan of Indian food, but I hadnât had such great, flavorful food until today. I had the Pakoras appetizer and the Camaron Lunch with Garlic Naan and Blackberry Pulp Juice. Everything about my meal was filling and flavorful, I savored every bite. The flavours experienced in a meal here are simply wonderful. The warm spices and the textures from the basmati mixing with the different sauces is so enjoyable and such a nice change from a typical rice dish. The menu is extensive and offers many vegetarian and non vegetarian choices.
