Had a great night with friends at ChaoLay.The Seafood is as fresh as it gets and sitting on the long pier is amazing.The restaurant is fully licensed and caters for larger groups too. We are goingnow to ChaoLay for over 4 years and this place never disappoints.A must visit seafood restaurant whilst in Hua Hin.

The owner, a very attractive, professional Thai lady speaks very good English. The staff are welcoming, friendly and the most beautiful waitress from Myanmar, speaks good English.Very good menu with English translation, covers a good range of dishes and I tried several over several weeks. All were beautifully prepared and delicious. Highly recommended. Situated a short walk from the Clock Tower in central Hua Hin.

I went there with my friends from Russia, because we were told the owner, when he is there, prepares outstanding borscht. Well, he wasn't, but no harm done as we opted for their steaks which were outstanding. Absolute fun location and delicious food. Can recommend.

We had breakfast here as it wasn't included in our hotel room rate and it was AMAZING. The breakfast choice is diverse and the portion sizes just right. The food was reasonably priced, very tasty and the staff friendly. The ambience is picture perfect gorgeous. We are almost done our second week of our honeymoon where we stayed at the resort this bar/restaurant is part of! It has been absolutely amazing! The food/ drinks have been fantastic and the staff have helped make our stay even better! Chef Alexander and the staff create a true ambiance of excellence, both in food quality and service!We had an outside dinner, overlooking the sea. The staff even provided a blower and mosquito repellant to make it more difficult for mosquitos to come to us.The tiger prawns were cooked to perfection and were very delicious. Simple Thai restaurant with small air conditioned inside space and a couple of tables outside. Large menu of Thai standards and a few western dishes. Friendly service.It might not look much from the outside but we enjoyed a good lunch here. One dish with squid and roasted chilli paste (pad prik pao) and one chicken with curry paste (pad pet gaeng). Both relatively authentic and much better than you usually get from 'touristy' looking places.Definitely worth a look if you are in the area.
