My friend and I had the most beautiful experience at this restaurant. it was walking distance from our hotel. we decided to have dinner outside our hotel on 1 evening and were recommended this place by our guide Mr. Nelson who was very helpful and reliable.after that dinner we went to Queen Bee everyday during our stay as the home cooked food was amazing and we felt like home.thank you Franco and Family. we will definitely return to visit. kisses to little TaraThank you for your review. My lovely wife and I popped into Pier 88's coffee shop to escape the rain one afternoon. It's separate from the main bar/restaurant area in a nice air conditioned room with plenty of comfy seating. As ever in Sri Lanka, decent espresso coffee comes with a hefty price tag. My large cappacino cost 480 rupees but it was pretty good. My wife had a chocolate & banana shake for 500 rupees and we shared a slice of chocolate fudge cake for another 500 rupees bringing the total bill to 1480 rupees. You can easily get a meal for two for less but if you fancy treating yourself then this is a good choice as everything is high quality and the ambiance very pleasant.Dear Eddy,So glad to hear you enjoyed your coffee and cake at Cafe88 Aluthgama. A nice quiet place more as a family hoise or it is a family kitchin cooking a family food which you enjoy every bite of the food.Food taste especially the curries are amazing.I came 3 days in a row and I think I will miss this place.

Angelika's is our late afternoon coffee restaurant,It's location on the beach together with the friendly staff is unquestionably superb.The service is excellent as is the cappachino.We had our valentine's night evening meal on the beach,as my wife and I do not eat fish Angelika prepared a special meal as per our requests,which we thoroughly enjoyed.Thank you for the lovely review
