Our hotel restaurant looked antiseptically dead so we went here and are very glad we did. The young man waiter spoke good English and seated us at a great table. We split taramousalata as an appetizer followed by Grilled squid and a grilled seafood platter all of which were very good. The wine is only Greek and we were very apprehensive but the waiter recommnbeded one that turned out to be very good called Cyrus One. We thoroughly enjoyed the whole meal.

We were sitting in a garden, like all the guests that evening. Greek atmosphere could be felt from the very beginning - a place in which rush does not exist, where smile, friendliness and good conversation are the greatest values. Variety of dishes impresses, but, as always, quality suffers on it. I paid around 11euro for rather small plate of cold starters, like tzatziki, olives, taramosalata etc., which all tasted like pseudo-Greek products from discounter nearby. I tried also mousaka - fair price of 6euro for filling bowl, but definitely over-salted (salt as a preservative, I guess). Even excellent ouzo couldn't erase bad impression after fake-Greek food. However, that unique atmosphere and very friendly service make this place worth visiting for a talkative evening accompanied by wine.

Sehr leckeres griechisches Restaurant. Freundlicher, schneller Service. Alles in allem top.

We were lucky to find a table at this obviously popular venue when we arrived without a reservation. Fortunately, we went fairly early because the place was really full later. We shared a selection of mezze dishes. These were all delicious and also presented in a rather more refined style than normally seen in Greece. The grilled octopus was some of the most tender and tasty that I have eaten. Spanakopitakia were hot and crisp and the grilled peppers and aubergine flavoursome as they should be.Mains of grilled fish fillets were well cooked and seasoned and the lamb kleftiko declared delicious. We enjoyed the selection of Greek wines and finished with one of my favourite Greek desserts galaktaboureko. Wonderful!Service was excellent for a restaurant that was so crowded and busy. We enjoyed a very pleasant evening here.

Pro Tip: if you haven't booked, you can come here after whatever it was you were doing and grab some delicious desert. The place starts to clear around 21:30 - 22:00, at which time they may not have mains anymore, but you're able to get one of their fantastic deserts. My girlfriend come here as often as we are able to snatch a table. We love the homely atmosphere, the fantastic food and the great vibe. Everything is decorated to perfection, the prices are more than fair and the food is delicious. There is no menu, the food comes in three courses. First, little dishes with a lot variety, typically around 6 for two people. For the mains you can choose between changing dishes, but generally there is calamari and lamb. For the deserts refer to the beginning. If you get a table, you'll have a fantastic time and food at terrific prices.

it's a perfect place for a greek food date night.Make sure to reserve ahead as it's always crowded. you could reserve online through their website as we did.The interior of the place is so greek and extraordinary. The waiters are very friendly and helpful. We were seated and welcomed with on the house ouzo shots. the menu was in german and greek only but we could manage. We had a large mixed platter as a starter, I can't remember the names of the items but I remember that every single piece was so delicious. (we always tend to pick platters to try as many different options on the menu)Then we picked out of the many great options for main course a platter that had maybe 2 different kinds of meat, some rice and garlic dip. which was also amazing. For dessert we went for the 3 mini greek desserts platter and it was the most perfect ending for the exquisite meal. I highly recommend that for dessert. But I have one thing to say about the service, it wasn't so excellent, as we had to call for a waiter several times until someone comes to our table whenever we needed something.

Symposium is 1.5km away from downtown. Despite its location along a passing street, it offers a pleasant outside terrace where tou can enjoy your meals under the shadow of plane trees. The menu is quite simpke with just enough choice and the possibility to accomodate with many allergies. The food is fresh and all homemade. The service was very slow (we kept waiting 15 min to order and a good 45 min to be served) but the waiter was friendly and politely excused for the time it took. At the end, a good greek cuisine restaurant situated in a rekatively quiet place.
