This is a really good outdoor activity. Right now, March 2020, when so many of us are looking for outdoor activities that don't involve travel, I was glad to try this one. The disk golf course doesn't take up the whole park, this is on the western side so use the parking lot off of 48th. The entrance and parking lot over on 44th is more for the playground and duck pond.

Had the pleasure of visiting River Ridge Golf Course/Restaurant/Bar for the first time this past August. I found out it was recently under new management. My experience was very enjoyable. The new owner and staff were all very friendly and accommodating. They seemed to want to go out of their way to make our visit a pleasant one. I do not play golf but my husband does. We found the 9 hole course not too intimidating for me and challenging enough for him. After golf we enjoyed a dinner and drinks on the back deck of the restaurant. Food was delicious and affordable with a pleasant and relaxing view. Haven't had that much fun in a long time. Will definitely go back once this covid-19 stuff is done.
