We came here on our first night in Langkawi. The setting of the restaurant is lovely and the staff are very welcoming. Huge restaurant although rather empty due to low season. The food quality was good and the menu was varied. Would recommend dining here for a nice lunch/dinner. Compared to other restaurants in Langkawi, it is on the more expensive side but we still had a nice three course meal.

Great location and views to look over while eating lunch. Service was ok, and staff were very helpful with choice selection on menu. The phad Thai was very tasty and the satay was delicious. Only down side was that they were doing Renoâs and a bit noisy, but that was a minor issue. Pretty reasonable in price.

Wonderful dining experience. You select the fish you want from the tank, itâs freshly prepared in Chinese steam style, juicy delicious fish in a spicy sauce. Fresh Mango salad and veggies as side. If you wish, they serve decent white wine here too (due to Langkawiâs tax-privileged status not as expensive as in Malaysia mainland).

What an experience. If you like food that kicks with flavour but is still complimentary to the basic ingredients Ko's amazing restaurant will fully engage your taste buds. We have been trying Malaysia's best dishes for the last two weeks but then came upon (by recommendation from our host Anis, a local) the Spicey Sea Bass in masak adam pedas. We also had some nice noodles and squid but frankly I was still gasping with pleasure as I added 20% to the meagre bill. That came to about £15 for two of us - with the tip. Amazing value , lovely guy, great food. Go there!!!

Me and my partner came here for a late lunch as we had just landed. The staff were lovely and the restaurant is inside and air conditioned which we were looking for. The food was delicious!!! We had a green curry with a side of vegetables and my partner had a pad Thai. Would highly recommend

Drawn by the reviews from previous patrons, we decided to see it (and eat it) to believe it. Guided by Waze, we found the restaurant in the suburbs of Jalan Ulu Melaka, Langkawi. The restaurant set up was cozy and intimate with a picturesque background of the padi fields. We started with vegetables pakora for starters.Pakora was fresh and crisp with aromatic spices. Deliciously spicy sambal belacan and salad was complimentary of the house. We ordered the dinner set menu with no regrets. A must have would be the very succulent and flavourful beef rendang which was the house special. Butter chicken massala, fish sambal and even the seemingly simple omelette takes your memory palate back to the warmth of home cooking. We finished off with mango kulfi for dessert which was definitely worth the calories. We were privileged to meet with Chef Pia, her husband Jimmy and her beautiful family. Overwhelmed by her love and passion for her cooking, writing this review is the very least we could do to show our gratitude for such memorable dining experience. Will definitely return!

Cba, the beachfront 80-seater restaurant of Meritus Pelangi Beach Resort and Spa provides alfresco dining. It specializes in Asian fusion dishes for lunch and dinner and breakfast is Continental. Dinner is semi- buffet and there are a wide variety of Continental desserts. I enjoyed having dinner on the sea beach with cool breeze blowing from the Straits of Malacca and live musical band. The interiors crafted from recycked wooden doors.

I was really lucky that day, It was my gf birthday and I picked same day to give her the ring so I searches for a nice restaurant preferably with great view for such memorable day. Once I decided I called them to book for 7:00 pm sunset time. They were very understanding and helpful and offered me to help with the whole âringâ thing. The only issue is the restaurant on top of a hill but once we reached the location we found a small car waiting to take us top.I was amazed. We got a super view table and talked to the manager there. He told me not to worry about anything. Took the ring and helped with the whole proposal thing. With a complimentary desserts with the ring inside it. Iâve got to admit we both were shocked of the idea but it was brilliant. Once we finished the day they offered the same small car to take us down again. It was awesome. Worth all the effort.thanks guys for making that day special. Thank you for dining at Rimba, we're glad you enjoyed your visit.
