Saint-Jean-sur-Richelieu (French pronunciation: [sɛ̃ ʒɑ̃ syʁ ʁiʃəljø]) is a city in eastern Montérégie in the Canadian province of Quebec, about 40 kilometres (25 mi) southeast of Montreal. It is situated on the west bank of the Richelieu River at the northernmost navigable point of Lake Champlain. The results of the 2011 Census stated that the city's population was 92,394; the number of residents was estimated at 94,636 in 2014.

Cette cantine du 82 Route 104 est plus qu`une cantine;c`est plus un restaurant conventionnel avec une tres bonne nourriture.Je vais occasionnellement a cet endroit et ce pour les déjeuners qui sont copieux ainsi que les spéciaux du midi.Donc ce restaurant est essayer..

When in the area and have a hankering for dogs and fries this is the place. Nice view along the canal bank right by the entrance to ile st Therese. Price is right and the food is just what the doctor ordered. If you are not counting calories have yourself a poutine. Great service and free parking. A stop well worth it.

Nice and friendly people; simply good "seems like old time" burgers. The "poutine" is yummy and the "guedille" is fresh and tasty. Have I said: "Gooooooooooood" ? I think I did. :)

My family (6 of us) ate like kings,all for under $60. Their fries are not oily, and all ingredients were fresh. We'll definitely be back!

Ate on outside patio on a weeknight. The Caesar salad was great, fresh croutons, real bacon and not swimming in dressing. Bar selection was wonderful.

I discovered this fine cuisine spot through a friend where we met for lunch.L'Imprévu is located on a corner lot in old Saint-Jean, with three seating sections including a private dining area; when the wheather is warm a large outdoor terrace is also open. Parking free whether on the restaurant lot or on the street is not an issue.The food and service at this place are amazing: we had the chef's terrine as an appetizer and then the veal liver plate with apples and maple syrup. For dessert we shared the profiterol and it was heaven.I would definitely want to return to try out some of their other choices on the menu.Prices are reasonable considering the quality of the food served.Thank you for your visit to our restaurant.You're welcome again.We are happy for your comment.
