I'll be honest. For the most part, I hate fast food. The quality lacks and so do the recipes. I'll give a big thumbs up to Panda Express for their "creative" menu choices. For what it is, I'm particularly fond of their new Shitake Kale Chicken. I like that they cook everything shortly before you order it, that the ingredients are fresh, and that they will cook something fresh for you if you request it. If you read my other reviews, you'll notice some of my biases. I'll save you some trouble. I think much food is over-salted and I think that there is a remedy for it in many cases. I've studied the Panda Express nutrition info and it's just downright salty. You don't have to salt the crud out of everything! There are ways to add flavor without pouring on the soy sauce :-) It's funny that they ask you if you need soy sauce after you've already ordered something that is 50% or more of your daily recommended salt intake. All in all, in this town absolutely dominated by fast food establishments, it's not a bad choice. If you have more time, though, I'd recommend New Moon, which is right next door, as an alternative.

I stopped in for lunch after a hearing at the nearby Cowlitz County courthouse. The restaurant seemed to have a good crowd of locals. The service was prompt enough. There is nothing really horrible about the meal I had, but it's not what I was looking for.Chow Yuk was my lunch of choice. I hoped for a meal of stir fried vegetables with a bit of meat. Unfortunately, the vegetables seemed to have been pre-boiled before being added to a wok. What came out was more like a stew than a stir fry. The remainder of the plate was carbohydrates in one form or another. Were the meal better prepared, it would have been a bargain at under $10, tax included.

The Good: Very friendly greeter and server, food was priced very well, fried shrimp appetizer were a good size and had a yummy light crispy batter. They give you a lot of food! We took home 3 dinner sized portions. The Bad:Food was mediocre overall. Didnt look or taste fresh just looked kinda blah. Mongolian beef was the worst I've tasted anywhere in years. Happy Family (3-seafoods) was just OKThe Ugly:Very Outdated decor, but fit the neighborhood...make sure you lock your car! The egg roles were disgusting, see photo. They were cooked hours ahead of time then given a second splash into the oil...they were very heavy and vegetable inside were mush. We brought them home for the dogs, one ate it, the other just carried it around the yard before dropping it in the grass uneaten.Worst fried rice on the planet. It was old and grease with nothing added.

My lunch choice was a classic. Pad Thai. Since this was my first time eating their food, I chose a dish which is a staple at a majority of Thai eateries, and used it as a gauge for comparing Momo Thai with other Thai restaurants. Get this right, and I’ll be back to try other menu items. Well, I’m very pleased.Although my PT was a bit sweeter than what I’ve eaten in other Thai restaurants, after two bites I was tucking into it. There was a generous amount of chicken mixed into the noodles, so you got a piece in every bite. It also contained grated carrot, tiny bits of stir-fried egg, purple cabbage, and crunchy bean sprouts, plus a lime quarter, and ground peanuts on the side for the diner to add, or not.I can’t review any servers because I took this to-go, however the owner/manager? couldn’t have been friendlier or more gracious. The interior was neat and clean from what I could see just next to the cashier station.I’m looking forward to my next visit so I can sit and eat, and try another dish.

We love Chinese food, but the items we ordered here were awful. The servings were HUGE but nearly tasteless. We ordered sesame chicken, Szechuan beef and General Tso's chicken. All of them were slathered in batter and deep fried to a greasy crispness. It was difficult to find the meat inside the batter.I'm an adventurous eater and typically ask the waitstaff for recommendations when I visit a new restaurant. That's almost always successful. Well, I requested a dinner with a very spicy sauce and lots of vegetables. Our waiter said I should try the Szechuan beef. 1. FRIED (who does that?!) 2. Some pieces were so tough that I couldn't chew them and had to spit them in to my napkin. 3. It was most assuredly not spicy (or even flavorful). 4. The only vegetables were a very few strands of green onion. We didn't even like the wonton or hot and sour soups, but they were at least edible. And not fried. LOLMaybe we had a failure to communicate with the waiter, but I can't imagine returning. My guys wanted to go to Taco Ball and afterwards I wish we had. (We did go to Shari's Restaurant for triple berry pie afterwards so our stomachs were happy by the end of the evening.)

I was in town for business and wanted quick, fresh tasty and inexpensive (not cheap).Pros- Nice fresh ingredients prepared well. I don't ask for much in Chinese restaurants anymore. It seems like they all are the same Americanized dishes and if you can find "good" you are lucky. I was pleasantly surprised here. I expected "OK" and got "Very Good" food. I had the lunch special with shrimp and there were actual normal sized shrimp, fresh zucchini, etc in the stir fry. To top it off I had some nice tea and the bill was under 8 bucks all said. Big win for this guy! The portion was so generous I planned on taking some back for dinner...nope...too good. I just had to pig out and enjoy the gluttony of which I do not indulge in often.Cons-Firstly...the place is a bit of a "dive". Not in a bad way, just needs a serious upgrade to get beyond dive status. They can't seem to decide how much the lunch special is. I thought I saw one place say $5.99 another 6 something and the menu said something different. Again, not a big deal as I still felt the price point was more than fair.Bottom Line-While I cannot speak to the consistency, I was very happy to have chosen this place to stop in for lunch. The food made the plate look good and allowed me to look past the dive factor.

When you think of restaurants you think that there would be choices for food allergies. Though a nice, friendly place my choices were extremely limited so had to pick something that was very random and definitely not first or even second choice. However finally it did come and it represented a bountiful presentation. Thanks to our party and the table server for being patient with me as I had to sort through what I could and couldn't eat.

We went here because of the good reviews on tripadvisor; what a disappointment. We chose veggie options and though the tofu was well cooked, the sauces were not. The teriyaki sauce was thin and over-sweetened with honey; the hoisin sauce tasted watery and contained so much ginger that it overpowered everything else on the plate. It saddened me that portions are so huge here that it is expected that you’ll need a box to take food home. The server delivered the bill, fortune cookies and take away boxes to our table before we were even half way through our meal! We’ve eaten far superior food at the numerous Chinese restaurants we have visited during many US road trips.
