Okay, a few weeks ago, the chicken was moist and full of flavour.we were so excited because up until then, the food was deplorable..but we thought we'd give it a try again...HOWEVER...tonight, we decided to give it another try instead of going to our very trusted Colasanti chicken....(which is always wonderful )...KFC...you really disappointed us...the chicken was dry....very very dry...no taste...the skin tasted 'old'....one piece had fatty yellow gelatin on the inside of the skin....stuck to the meat...We were not impressed with the overall appearance of the grounds...the pavement surrounding this 'dive' had pot holes...and it's been like this for years...the outside of the place had weathered signs and canopy...whoever the manager is and the area manage is...SHOULD BE FIRED...KFC owner, we tried, we really really really tried and were really hoping things were improving...there was a very pleasant clerk that served us who assured us the chicken was great because 'we have the best cook on tonight"....well, sadly, we won't be back. Once the school moves to another location, I think that this store with close its' doors...DO NOT BUY CHICKEN HERE.

This is Monday March 26, 2018. We had just returned to Leamington from our winter home in Lakeland, Florida and wanted to give the new Swiss Chalet / Harvey's Restaurant a try. We both decided to order from the Harvey's section. We have been to many Harvey's over the years and like the idea of being able to customize our burgers to our liking with our choice of toppings. Our orders were served in the usual fast food method of being wrapped in paper and cardboard. We understand that if you order from the Swiss Chalet section your order will be served on plates. The burgers were good however we do prefer the burgers at the A&W which is located just across the road. It is interesting to note that this combination of a Swiss Chalet / Harvery's had previously been in business for a brief time several years ago where the A&W Restaurant is now located. That attempt failed. People wanted the Swiss Chalet to be a separate business where they could go as families or individuals to dine on real plates and with real utensils with a full Swiss Chalet menu. At that time as is evident again that did not happen and the people just stopped going. The same thing happened in Chatham, Ontario where a combination Swiss Chalet & Harvey's had to close the Harvey's half. HOPE THIS NEW ATTEMPT WILL NOT FOLLOW IN THE PAST.

I recently stopped here for breakfast as I had often done in the past. However this time I was really disappointed. My eggs were floating in oil and the bacon had to be sent back to be cooked properly. I would say that things have gone down hill here.

Good restaurant to get a quick meal, including steak for about what you would pay for a fast food burger combo. Just have to watch the extra's they want to suggest with your dinner. Those can add up quickly (like extra onions or side salads). We also had a some very cheap drinks: 30 oz beer for $5 and a martini for $4.

Our group was only party in the place at 6pm. That should have been a warning signal. Took forever to get our drink order. Food came in a reasonable time but was very disappointing. Bland bland bland. None of us finished our plates and we left feeling hungry. Nice view of Lake Erie.

Don't come here often but sometimes after church services we join a number of other seniors for a good roast beef sandwich. The place used to be a little grimmie around the edges but recently it has been cleaned up and looks very nice. Great place for specialty sandwiches at a good price.

There is nothing at all wring with this restaurant. My impression is that it is more more of a sports bar than family restaurant, but maybe the word has different connotations in Western Ontario. Anyhow, the menu has most normal pub type stuff, local fish and special burgers. And a good selection of local craft beers (in cans). My meal burger, fries and beer was good, the lettuce & tomato fresh and it did not cost a bomb ($26, including tip).Service was good, friendly and attentive. Not a bad place to go.

I love this place. Great food and nice servers. Only thing is a few times now Iâve ordered an item but ingredients indicated on menu were missing in meal. I get it if not ripe (should consider that if youâre a restaurant to ensure ingredients are available) but to serve the item without the ingredient and not say anything or offer extra of some other ingredient is not cool. Next time if you donât have a it tell your clients.
