Fabulously different. Quality wine, quality information and an amazing overall experience. I really think this unique experience should be enjoyed first hand, we will return in the summer and enjoy “Los Locos d’ Bahia” again.

Doniene Gorrondona is a winery located in Bakio, the center of the wine production in Bizkaia Region, in Basque Country. It is a winery, which produce txakoli (the local wine) and fortified wines. We came here and decided to do a guided visit, which was wonderful, because we learned a lot about wines, the history of the region and enjoy a lot talking with the owner, a very friendly man. We also could see the fortified wines production as a subproduct of the winery, very nice olace with somee destillators. At the end, we tasted some of the txakolis (white one, red one and sparkling one), which were excellent and we could eat some local food like tuna, cheese and anchovies. A great experience!
