My girlfriend and I booked this kayaking tour because I had done it in the past and really enjoyed it and wanted her to experience it. Our group leaders were Kenny, Jesse, and Paola and they were great. They informed us of everything we were going to experience before we experienced it to make sure we knew what we were getting into. We first gathered together to get a kayaking 101 lesson. Then our kayaking adventure started off in the ocean until we reached a canal that lead to the lagoon. Make sure to wear bug spray because the mosquitoes are really bad in the canal! Exiting the canal into the lagoon is a beautiful view. We had a few minutes to explore the lagoon and then gathered together to see the bioluminescent organisms. Such a cool experience! The water is sooo warm and you can clearly see the organisms glowing around your hands. The ride back is a bit scary because it is so dark in the canal; however, our kayaks had lights behind them so that we could at least see the direction we were headed. We both would do this trip again because we just enjoyed it so much. We would definitely recommend it. The only thing that is a problem is parking. If you are driving in yourself, it is pretty difficult to find a spot because it is so crowded. It took us about 10-15 minutes to find one so we'd recommend getting there early to avoid running late.

Experience two of the greatest natural attractions in Puerto Rico, all in one day! This full-day package brings you the best of the East Coast. Take the guesswork out of your planning with this all-inclusive tour including round trip transportation, a fully guided rainforest tour, and the world-famous Bio Bay kayak tour. El Yunque is without a doubt Puerto Rico’s greatest natural wonder. It is the only tropical rainforest, and the most studied forest, in the United States National Forest System. It is the most biologically diverse forest, hosting hundreds of plants and animals, some only found here in Puerto Rico! Bioluminescence is one of planet Earth’s best-kept secrets. Tiny organisms called “dinoflagellates” make the water glow at night and fortunately, they have found the perfect place to live in the Fajardo Bio Bay, so we are able to experience them all year round.

Inclusions: Professional Local Tour Guests with Lifeguard, CPR & First Aid Certification, Pictures from your Rainforest Adventure, Eco Interpretation throughout the Rainforest Trails, Fresh Local Fruit, Snacks & Refreshments, All Necessary Equipment, Training and Safety Instructions prior to Tour, Round Trip Transportation from Accommodation or Assigned Pick Up Location, Rainforest Entry Fee, Fully Guided Bio Bay Tour at World Famous Laguna Grande, Eco Interpretation of the Bioluminescent Lagoon and Surrounding Area & Eco System, Discover Bioluminescence at the Fajardo Bio Bay, Watch and Learn about the Constellations

Exclusions: Stop at Local Restaurant for Dinner (not included in price)

I can say with relative confidence that this is the best tour company to do El Yunque through. I went with some friends on a Saturday and we saw many other tour groups, all of which were much bigger than ours. Instead we got a more intimate and safer experience with a great guide! Do be aware that the cliff jumping, water slides and rope swing are the main event, so if your not the adventure type all you will see is some pretty trees and a heavily trafficked (although gorgeous) set of natural pools. Totally worth it though, for all those adventure lovers out there (or anyone willing to try new things) and this company is definitely the way to go. A must do!

An awesome all day adventure! Our driver/your guide Jami was fantastic, very friendly and answering all our questions, giving thorough directions to prepare us for all the fun. The rainforest portion was really neat. Two more guides joined our group (Barbara and J__) and they were amazing as well. It was nice to have someone at the front of the group, middle, and back to help answer questions and take pictures. Be sure to wear comfortable shoes with good grip as you'll be walking up slippery rocks and roots. You will get wet, so make sure to wear a bathing suit and change of clothes. The scenery is beautiful The food we ordered from the restaurant was delicious! The next portion with the kayaking to the bio bay was neat, but not really what I expected. It may be because the lagoon is on the main island and so it's wasn't as bright as I'd hope. It was still a really cool experience! It's a long day, but definitely worth it!

The exploration of a cave by the ocean. Don't know if Robin will be there for the future tourist, but I met my adrenaline needs. Waterfalls were amazing. I actually jumped ????????????????????. Love Rafael. He was truly God's gift. The food...the everything...I'm about to tear up about reflecting on the experience I had. I went snorkeling and saw fish reefs. I got war wounds (because of my daredevilness...not if I would have played it safe) to tell my family and friends.

My friend and I decided to try the night kayaking tour while on vacation in Rio Grande. Peniel was recommended by our hotel concierge - and we are very grateful we chose to move forward! Brian and Alex were excellent tour guides, and made us feel informed and safe throughout the experience. The tour begins with night kayaking on open water through the Bay at Las Croabas, though you shortly enter a mangrove channel that leads to La Laguna Grande. You can see the stars that shine overhead and hear all the birds in the trees. Shortly, you start to see little lights and sparkles in the water, which are made by tiny organisms that light up with motion of the oars and kayak. It’s like the effects of hundreds of tiny fireflies below the surface. If you dip your hand in, you have sparkles all over your hands, and it is as of the oars have lights on them. It was one of the most unique and memorable experiences of my life. I highly recommend to everyone!
