Beautiful vineyard , excellent wood fired pizza lunch, very nice wine and all so close to our wonderful village of Westport. Scheuermann Vineyard is a MUST do, very friendly and welcoming owners and staff with a quaint country setting. Love it ! Thanks Alison for making each visit a special one .

Fitflop shoes, specialed appetizers lots of fun foods, if you are a shoe lover , this is the best place around, love it, bought two nice winter coats/ jackets here, only the best quality

I was in Westport recently to decompress from a rough few months at work. Stayed at the Cove and had a massage, facial and pedi with Sarah. Everything was great! She was super accommodating with my schedule and I left feeling relaxed and ready to get back to reality.

High atop a granite ridge overlooking the historic Upper Rideau waterway and Village of Westport is Foley Mountain Conservation Area, a UNESCO-protected area. Key highlights include Spy Rock scenic lookout, seven marked hiking/snowshoeing trails (nine kilometers in total), education and summer programs, an interpretive centre, group camping, and a natural swimming area. The view from Spy Rock at 65 meters above Westport is absolutely amazing and wheelchair accessible! The beach at Foley Mountain is sheltered and sandy and features both washroom and change facilities. Foley Mountain Conservation Area is operated by the Rideau Valley Conservation Authority. It spans 3.25 square kilometers (800 acre) and is open daily from dusk to dawn. Wildlife of note includes white tail deer, black and red squirrels, snowshoe hares, cottontail rabbits, porcupines, and chipmunks. There are 38 species of trees in the area. Take time to check out the mature birch, maple, oak, and pine Forests. And remember to check out the conservation area's beaver pond. Dogs must be on a leash at all times and are not permitted on the beach or in the water. Hunting is not permitted. And camping and fires are by permit only. Note that Rideau Trail, a 300 kilometer hiking trail linking Ottawa and Kingston, runs through the conservation area. There is currently a fee of $6 per vehicle to use Foley Mountain Conservation Area.

Good place to stop and great source of information. I want also to say something about Westpodt, because from the "to do list" is not too much and this is an amazing place to spend a few days.
From when you get in the city following HWY 10 from Perth or 15 from Kingston; the view is breathtaking. An amazing small city near a "pond" and two lakes with beautiful views and amazing sunsets, with great restaurants and very nice people. It is not very well known but it should be an must do on anyone that is visiting Eastern Ontario.

Always in great shape, this course is beautiful and provides challenges for golfers of all skill levels (variety of tee boxes to suit your level). Friendly and helpful staff, a great place to golf, or just hang around and enjoy the camaraderie. Fantastic food and view from the deck overlooking the 9th green as well as beautiful Wolfe Lake.

Upon entering we were greeted by a friendly Meggie(?) She asked if we needed any help with anything. On this visit they had T's with "Westport" on them. I found two in my size and color that I like. My wife also found one she liked. With an exchange rate of 30%. The shirts were a good value.

Artemisia Art Gallery has closed and is now Georgia D Art Biz, your local shop for professional art supplies. Demos and other art events are being planned with the grand opening November 26 and 27, 2016. Hours open will alter according to the season, but also open by chance or appointment.
