Yes it's a little dated. It started in the 60s or 70s with some of the original buildings still standing but what does that matter? The animals appear well looked after and there are opportunities to feed some of them. The kids love crawling over into the goats to interact. The rides are very few and only really for the under 8s but there are lots of really good playgrounds and we felt we ran out of time especially once the kids found the big inflatable! I love their little pull along wagons they hire out so you don't have to carry everything around. I would recommend bringing a picnic as there is an abundance of picnic tables all over the park. I can't really put my finger on anything negative apart from the fact that they sadly close in the winter...
