Ao Sane

So everyone was telling me to go to this wonderful beach just after Nai Harn - so I did. As everyone described it, it's very quiet and not too many tourists around, it's rather small, has a cute little restaurant and some wooden houses around which gives a nice atmosphere.
However, the sand is rather coarse, it cut my feet, so better bring beach shoes.
Also which many describe as very beautiful and great for snorkeling is just awful for regular beach visitors. There is pretty much only one little spot where you can go bathing without having to worry about rocks in the water.

Ya Nui is a lovely, quiet, secluded small beach, lovely place on the right for small children learning to swim. bring everything you'll need as there isn't a 7/11 close, which is a rarity in Thialand. there is a good restaurant that will fil your tummy with food and drinks. we love this beach.

Phuket Seashell Museum

This is one of the largest collections of seashells in the world. The displays of shells is well done. You can also see the World’s Largest Golden Pearl (160 karats) and a massive 550 pound shell. The golden pearl however lacks luster. This beautiful collection is worth a visit.

Rawai Beach

Reviewed By 22Gus - Scarborough, United Kingdom

If tidied up and pavements repaired a lot more could be made of the beach. Currently a working beach where boats depart from, having said that, some pleasant little bars at far end where nice to watch world go by. Rawai itself a nice town with charm and personality!
