We booked a full dive tour with Blue Season Bali that included four nights at the Menjangan and diving with their office located at the hotel.
Jenny contacted us shortly after we checked in to confirm details with us. We headed down to the office to get sorted out for the next days diving. Jenny was super friendly and accomodating with any and all requests we had. We met Komang who was going to be our guide for the next three days.
The diving was fantastic! The equipment was all in great condition. Lunch was included with the diving and was fantastic.
Jenny and Komang made sure everything was taken care of for us and we had a great time diving with them.
I would certainly recommend diving at the Menjangan if you are in this part of Bali.

Menjangan Island

The diving here used to be excellent - my favourite place for Scuba diving actually.
Sadly too much rubbish floating over from Java is ruining what was once pristine underwater life and scenery. Adding to that global warming hasn't helped.
And now tourists have over visited the island and surrounding reef and dive spots. It is still OK but it used to be much better.
And yes - there are deers on the island.

Pulaki Temple (Pura Pulaki)

Together with Pabean and Melanting temple in North Bali, this is the mecca for merchants and business owners praying for the good luck in their business. The barren cliff as a backdrop is lovely and the location on the seaside is great. But be very careful with the naughty and stealers, the monkeys. They will try to steal everything from you. So watch out with your belongings.

Bio rock is an excellent approach to assisting nature recover. The artificial reef is growing in metal structures and slowly developing. The fish are appreciating the efforts and surrounding the reef. It’s literally just off the beach in front of Taman Sari Resort so easy to swim out and explore.

This was ok to visit and see but a little sad to see the turtles in such small enclosures, especially when the Reef Seen hotel has its own part on the beach that would be much better utilised to facilitate the reintroduction of the beautiful animals back into their natural habitat.

Trekking Table Stone Hill

This is a short walk to a panoramic point near Pemuteran. You have to pay a little entrance fee (10`000 Rup p.P) at the entrance (point 1 on map). From the entrance its about 20min to the top temple. Its steep and hot, so bring enough water. The view is extraordinary and absolutely worth the hike.
So if you have the time, don't miss this activity in Pemuteran!
The map shows the way from the Jassri Homestay.
