Mogo Zoo

Despite light rain we had an interesting visit to the zoo. We were in time for the keepers talks on the Silvery Gibbons, the White Lions and the Gorillas. They were very informative and rewarding as the animals came out when the keeper arrived knowing they'd get food. The giraffe feeding was well worth the $10 to get up close.

Flying over Montague, the Mistery beach, passing the camel and horse rocks, over the lakes and back to Narooma... you may have seen these places from down there, but this gives a full new dimension to them... It is a fantastic moment of magic, where the views are so much more alive!

We visited the Moruya Country Markets on a chilly Saturday morning recently. The markets are situated along the Moruya River in the Moruya Riverside Park, which is in walking distance from the main shopping precinct of Moruya. On the Saturday we visited, there was an array of fresh produce, along with many home-made clothing and art works. There were also many bric-a-brac stalls with second hands goods for sale. It is certainly worth a visit if in Moruya on Saturday mornings. There are also a few stalls with hot food and drinks for sale.

I recently gave my partner a trial instructional flight voucher for his birthday. He was excited about flying the little Cessna and I accompanied him and his trainer, Claire to take photos and videos (which I'm glad to say, came out pretty well). It was a real buzz to view the amazing, beautiful coastline around the area we live and great to see him flying the plane for a while on his own, and see his big grin at the end of the flight. He now has the flying itch, but whatever happens, he can now cross off another item from his bucket list. Thank you Claire for your great training, patience and friendliness.
Recommend highly for adventurous spirits!
