The headline picture is of the Cathedral, not S Flaviano but there are several good images contributed by reviewers. Built between the 11c and 15c this is really 2 churches one on top of the other, built into the hillside on the Via Francigena. Some lovely frescoes from the 14c and 15c which have thankfully not been over-restored, and well preserved romanesque details. And for those who want to se it, the tomb of Dubuk of 'Est Est Est!' fame

we were heading back to Montefiascone after a tour of the lake and we saw a sign in English pointing to this burial ground, We detoured and found a well kept cemetery and a reminder that death recognises no nationality

Siamo capitati qui per caso, durante una gita a Civita di Bagnoregio.
Eravamo curiosi di assaggiare il famoso vino " Est!Est!Est!" tipico di questa zona, e siamo stati "catturati" dall' insegna di questa bella cantina, convinti che si potesse anche solo degustare. A dire il vero il proprietario ci ha spiegato che nella sua cantina si effettua vendita in bottiglie, ma e' stato cosi' gentile da farci assaggiare ugualmente diverse qualita' di vini, uno piu' buoni dell' altro.
Il signore e' stato veramente amabile: ci ha raccontato la storia della sua cantina, tramandata di generazione in generazione, e ce l' ha mostrata nei dettagli, in tutto il suo splendore: e' un luogo davvero magico, antichissimo, vale davvero la pena di una visita, non solo per rimanere ammaliato dal fascino che emana, ma anche per approfittare dell' acquisto di vini a prezzi davvero competitivi.

Portiamo tutte le settimane i bambini in piscina e, nell'attesa, consumiamo qualcosa nella sala attigua, dove è collocato l'Allego bar. Personale simpatico e premuroso, sempre gentile e discreto. Sala informale, ma pulita e attrezzata con un reparto dove i più piccoli, senza scarpe, possono scatenarsi tra i vari giochini presenti. Grande monitor a parete che trasmette cartoni animati o vari video ben visibile dai tavoli in sala e musica diffusa da altoparlanti. Ottime le spremute o le centrifughe di stagione.
