Off the coastal highway 34, straight in on the Parrita entrance into Esterillos Oeste, 1 block from the beach, get a surfboard, surf lessons from Laura and/ or a great massage!Thank you for your opinion but the owner of Aloha Surf is Jorge Bolandi and I Ana Alfaro, we gladly offer our lessons that include chair and umbrella, hydration and pothos and massages with Lady Bolandi.

Like the other reviews this is a very nice quiet beach with beautiful sunsets. Have been there many times. Mostly ticos with a few guests from the hotels just north. Sometimes almost empty during the week. If you walk a couple of kilometers south there is an interesting estuary and mouth of the river flowing into the ocean. At low tide you can walk across to the beach on the other side. Good fishing at the mouth of the river for snook. Nice beach for a sunset horseback ride. Good Surfing but extremely dangerous riptides here even for a strong swimmer.

Our guests will be greeted at our Barn located horse steps away from the gorgeous Beaches of Esterillos Este.Here we will match you with one of our beloved healthy and friendly horses,then we will adjust your equipment and give you basic tips and instructions on how to ride properly on each of our horses.Once we are all set and ready, we will take our private trail to the beach of Esterillos Este that is one of the largest beach stretches in Central America.You will ride along side hundreds of palm and almonds trees that provide shelter and food to red scarlet macows,parrots,toucans,monkeys,squirrels, sloths and iguanas.We will cross little rivers and ride where to where the jungle meets the ocean.Our horses are beautifully trained by a profesional rider and trainer Sylwia (owner).We use natural horsemanship methods to train our horses and we are constantly updating our knowledge, skills and training techniques,learning from the best mentors so you can ride comfortably. I am an experienced rider, and asked for a private fast ride. Silwia gave me just that! It was a fun-filled two hour ride on her 17.3 hand gentle giant Holsteiner, an exhilarating experience! We walked, trotted and cantered on the gorgeous, almost empty beach. Silwia then took me to the coconut grove, and offered me a healthy refreshment from coconuts she had picked from a tree, an amazing experience! She will take out groups or individuals, beginners or experienced riders, and give her customers excellent service. Silwia is a knowledgable horsewoman, and her horses, that come in all shapes, sizes and breeds, are very well trained, happy and healthy. I can't wait to go back and ride with her again. The best riding experience ever!

Disc golf in a model sustainable community. We offer a professional quality disc golf course. It starts at the living roof modern homes and continues past the salt water swimming pools. The first tee is over terraced organic Gardens. The fairway is flanked by a 20,000 gallon aquaponic pool with a Fountain. The Fountain produces tens of thousands of tilipias and organic fertilizer for the dozens of raised bed vegetable Gardens in the green houses behind it. The first disc golf green is before the equestrian training ring. The course continues through a food forest that runs along a stream. The disc golf is part of our Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) program, The Permaculture Country Club. It is centered in our more than sustainable community, Saint Michael's. Our systems of regenerative agriculture a model for a better world.

New course, many short holes, nice baskets, good tee areas. The terrain can be a bit challenging, but it is well worth it. You can do this as a 1/2 day or day trip, but there is also a super sweet 2 bedroom villa with a massive pool to rent right next to the first tee. If you only have one chance to play true disc golf in the tropics, do it here.

Fish in-shore for Mackerel, Snapper, Jack and Rooster fish. Off-shore for Mahi-Mahi, Sailfish, Wahoo and Tuna. See some dolphins, whales and sea turtles and enjoy the fishing while out on our open 28 foot fiber glass panga with shade roof.

Leaving the beautiful beach at Esterillos Oeste, watching our view of the coast line widen, gave us a much greater appreciation for where we were! This area looks incredible from the water. Chiri and Padre were like a well oiled machine. Working together to ensure we felt safe and confident in their guiding abilities.We started with some in shore mackerel fishing, bringing in a number of fish almost imediately! After doing this for a while, we moved further offshore and began trolling again. The weather was so perfect, with a sea breeze and full on Sunshine. We were thankful for the boat's canopy. Just as we were starting to relax in the moment, we got a hit! It was game on! What a fight! We caught at least 3 and they all came high out of the water, trying to shake the hook loose. We could see Dorado swimming next to the boat. Great day of fishing. Thanks Chiri!! We'll be back.

Esterillos Oeste has a beautiful natural coastline that stretches more than 5K. Riding a bike is the best way to experience everything the area has to offer: rare tropical birds, sea turtle reserve, monkeys, natural salt baths. You'll meets lots of friendly fisherman & neighbors. These bikes are comfortable, in mint condition and great for cruising on the sandy roads & beach areas. Each bike comes with a personal lock & basket to carry your beach stuff. And they also offer guided tours, that include lunch, of the area. Great bikes, sunny skies, beautiful Beaches & friendly service. Can't beat that! I highly recommend Esterillos Bike Rentals.
