We recommend that you email us in advance of your visit. Conebella Farm, an award-winning 100% Ayrshire dairy farm, is located in beautiful Chester County, Pennsylvania. Since 1923, five generations of Gables have called the farm home, including the current owners, Don and Pam Gable and their three sons. The 198-acre farm grows all of the forages for the 105 milking cows and 100 head of young stock. Conebella Farm Cheese is made from all natural ingredients with the milk from our own cows, which is both antibiotic free and hormone free. Our experienced cheese maker creates a variety of Cheddar and Colby based cheeses, including Garlic & Chive, Jalapeno and Italian as well as a line of preservative-free cheese spreads. Taste the difference in this creamy, buttery cheese made from pure Ayrshire milk. Find our cheese at many area farm markets, or stop by our farm from sunrise to sunset 6 days a week.

Their cheese is made from all natural ingredients . Fresh milk and eggs are available. Excellent cheddar and colby. Yogurt is of very good quality. They follow the principle of antibiotic-free and hormone free production. Until now I did not know much about Ayrshire milk they produce. I understand it is referred to as "the ideal drinking milk". After trying a sample you can understand why it is considered special by connoisseurs.

French Creek State Park

Reviewed By donnabO8015OG - Gladwyne, United States

This was our first visit to the park, so we went into the Park Office to get a map and advice on an easy hiking trail for 2 seniors and our 2 dogs. We were told that the loop around the lake was well marked and easy. We parked our car, had a picnic lunch, used the clean restrooms, and enjoyed the hike. There are small round signs "Hopewell Lake Loop" marking the trail, which goes through wooded areas with some parts close to the lake. We definitely plan to return to this park and try another trail now that I have a map and know how well marked all of the trails are.

Hopewell Furnace National Historic Site

Reviewed By Outdoorgal5 - Nashville, United States

I'm from Tennessee and while we have old furnaces I never gave it much thought until my visit to Pennsylvania today on the back road with my friend. She took me to Hopewell National Historic Site what an interesting story as told by the enthusiastic Park Ranger Mary Z. You can how much she loves that place bc she brought the hard labored process to life. We thoroughly enjoyed our visit, learning of the hard-working, hearts of America, men and women, black and white, side-by-side working towards a common goal, who forged the Iron and Steel industry. Make sure u watch the short film, very nice.
