Brad's Produce is a major feature at the Bel Air Farmers Market, but it is also fun to go to the source, especially in the autumn. There is a seemingly endless variety and supply of pumpkins and gourds. Multicolored chrysanthemums welcome customers at the entrance. I did my produce shopping for the week including onions, apples, spinach, zucchini and more. Beef and pork products fill the frozen cases. I was especially happy to see the Maryland favorite, scrapple. Could not pass up their own hot seasoned beef sticks and jerky. Locally made jams, sauces and relishes fill one wall, along with fresh eggs and dairy products. Overall enjoyed an outing in the countryside on a bright autumn day.
Purple Rain Lavender Farm is a small 16 acre farm in beautiful Harford County in the town of Churchville, Maryland. Situated minutes from I-95,the farm makes a great destination for u-pick flowers and lavender during the summer months. The farm also offers a wide array of lavender products.

Where else are you going to find the freshest fruit and produce but at your local farm store. Apples for $3 per quart. Fresh made cider from their own apples and home made apple cider donuts. You cannot go wrong. Pick your own peaches in summer and pick your own pumpkins and apples in the fall. Great way to spend quality family time.
