Great swimming pool. Very good for kids. Clean and well designed. Really good. One from the best in Germany. BUT!!! Stay away from their restaurant - they prepare hamburgers without plastic gloves. I mentioned that but the girl said : "We wash our hands! And if you do not like it, you do not have to eat here! "And immediately touched her t-shirt with both hands. I order just bottle of beer.So be sure that you will get food with full germs from the restaurant crew. Disgusting....

Bogenparcours Nassach

We were a group of 5 people and it took us more or less 3 hours to finish the parcours. The instruction at the beginning was really helpfull, so that even beginners can get a hit. I liked the fact, that the rubber animals are placed in the middle of the woods, which makes it a mix of hiking and "hunting". A ticket for adults is 10€ (plus 12€ for renting the equipment). I think it's a fair price for an unique activity.

Bluhendes Barock

Reviewed By rdubbs08 - Edmond, Oklahoma

As we planned our 2 week European adventure we came across the pumpkin festival in Ludwigsburg and immediately decided it was a must - after all, it is the WORLD's largest!
The festival is held on the grounds of Bluhendes Barock - a GORGEOUS setting for so many gourds! Even without the festival, the palace and grounds are fantastic to walk around. With the festival - you will find EVERYTHING pumpkin! There was pumpkin art, pumpkin food and pumpkin WINE!
We spent several hours enjoying the day and our 19 month old LOVED it!
This was a unique event and somewhat off the beaten path compare to the typical "must-do's" in Europe. We did not get to really explore Ludwigsburg as we were there for less than 24 hours, but the festival was the perfect way to put us in the spirit of fall!

A beautiful museum with a 250,000 year-old skull found right in Steinheim, an entire mamoth, and lots of miscellaneous bones and fossils. Lots of great interesting information. We were fortunate enough to have a private guided tour. This narration made the entire experience even more informative.

Been many times and the castle has easy parking and is accessible with the Bus too. You can walk around the little lake or just wonder around the front of the Seeschloos Monrepos, I recommend at least walking to the left side of the lake and looking over at the ruins of a church in the center of the lake.
