Sequim /ˈskwɪm/ ( listen) is a city in Clallam County, Washington, United States. The 2010 census counted a population of 6,606. Sequim with the surrounding area has a population of about 28,000. Sequim is located along the Dungeness River near the base of the Olympic Mountains. The population served by the Sequim School District population was over 26,000 in 2018. The city has been increasing in population in recent years due to the influx of retirees seeking good weather and a relaxed lifestyle.

We offer complimentary admission all summer long, even during Sequim Lavender Weekend. Visit our quaint store, located in the barn; our boutique products are handmade with lavender essential oil distilled from our own plants. Head to the copper still and watch as we distill the oil and learn about the different uses and kinds of lavender we grow, then stop by the “Essential Oil Bar” to smell many varieties of lavender essential oil, all available for sale. We offer lawn games such as bocce ball and cornhole (for kids and adults), as well as benches and picnic tables throughout the property. We invite you to bring a picnic, a good book, or just your camera, and stay all afternoon!

Visited first thing Sunday morning and met the owners. Fabulous people and the lavender grows are titled so you know the different varieties. This is a family operation and everything is homemade. Great products will definitely come back.

We are now closed for the season. Our seasonal hours are 9-5 daily from May-September. Our family of three generations loves to share our 12-acre lavender farm. The 100-year old barn provides the northern backdrop to thousands of lavender plants with a breathtaking view of the Olympic Mountains to the south. We offer free tours all summer, which include information about growing, processing, cleaning and distilling lavender. Our Shoppe is filled with quality, hand-made lavender products and our one-of-a-kind bud-cleaning machine (aka the ‘jitterbud’) will be shakin’ all summer so stop by for a unique, free, educational farm experience.

This is a family owned farm that is beautiful.You will be greeted by one of the family(&treated like family too) and can explore the plants, barn or gift shop. A must see in Sequim!

This is a seriously cool hike and natural wonder to visit if you’re in the area! It contains the largest natural “spit” in the US (Dungeness Spit) at just over 5 miles long! You can walk the entire length of the spit all the way to the lighthouse which is just over 10 miles round trip. For safety, it’s recommended to go during low tide bc at high tide you’ll have to climb over tons of logs which is hazardous and exhausting. Normally the lighthouse is open for tours but it’s closed for now due to Covid. There’s plenty of paved parking and also some decent bathrooms at the trailhead. Normally there’s a $3 entrance fee per group/family, but the day I visited it was free! Once you enter the trail, you walk through the forest for about 15 minutes then the bay view opens up before you! There is a viewing deck to your right before you head down to the shoreline of the spit. The day I visited, it was so clear you could see Mt Rainier looming over the lighthouse in the distance! So cool! Normally you have a choice of path between a slightly (very slightly) shorter, more paved walk or the “primitive trail”, but due to Covid safety measures, it’s a one way walk now so you head out to the refuge on the primitive trail and come back on the other trail. Along the walk, there are some informational signs and lots of gorgeous trees and birds. It’s a lovely, gentle hike for the most part but it does have a small incline at the end down towards the bay. Once you get down on the beach, you can see the bay and Canada our in front of you and then Sequim behind you! It’s a great outing! Highly recommend!

This was our 2nd visit to this farm on our 2nd ever lavender tour. We both like this place. We liked it last time. There is excellent parking and parking and farm entrance are free. The fields are available for walking. There are some resident critters, including goats. Typically special events are held here. Not so this year due to COVID-19. The gift shop is nice. Despite the tourist prices, I did purchase several items. Gift shop staff was very nice. They have a u cut for the lavender. I liked that ! For $5 you can wander the u cut fields. They provide a twist tie to hold what you cut. The size of your bouquet is determined by how much the twist tie will hold. Scissors are provided. The sunshine and fresh air are free! COVI-19 protocols are in place. There are some places to sit and some shade trees if needed or wanted.

We are a 14 acre USDA certified organic lavender farm spread out over 4 different field locations in the heart of Dungeness. We are a premier grower of lavender flowers, premium distiller of lavender essential oils, and artisan of hand-crafted lavender products and gifts right from our farm. Come check us out all summer long on the farm and during our annual Olympic Lavender Festival every third full weekend in July. You can also visit our downtown Sequim store, Olympic Lavender Company, all year long! We are a family friendly farm, and welcome all visitors to our farm May 1 through September 1 of each year. The U.S. Government had plans to build a Voice of America installation at this site, but the project never occurred. Clallam County purchased the property and over the years has developed an outstanding regional park. The scenic views and trails are outstanding. Camping reservations are available online. The USFWS charges a fee to access the Dungeness National Wildlife Refuge.

There is so much to see. it takes effort to get down and back but well worth it. take a small pack with water, a snack, windshirt and hat. Dont forget the sunscreen. as always, Pack it In Pack it Out! If you want to hike out to the lighthouse it will be several hours, I think it is about 12 miles round trip.

Had a great time at the OGF. They sell brown whole wheat to feed the animals. The deer, Yale’s, elk, bison, llamas, peacocks and other come right up the car to get the bread. Often stick their heads right in the car. The animals are roaming free in large fenced areas and you drive your vehicle through the enclosures. Lots of fun. They have additional animals in smaller enclosures that you do not drive thru. This includes a large number of bears, some lions, tigers, wolves etc. Have a gift shop on site as well as a snack shack open during the summer. Great for folks of all ages. There is a chance of damage to your vehicle as some of these animals are quite large. Good chance you could get drilled on. Takes about 30 minutes to drive thru the farm.
