Recommend a tour of Jewel Cave while in the Augusta/Margaret River Area. Interesting and beautiful formations and guide Richard was very informative with both his geology and knowledge of the cave and it's history. Tour went for an hour, there were a few hundred steps but no rush. Group limited to 30 people. Ours was much less than that. Recomnended

Stopped here and sat under a tree for lunch. It is a beautiful area and right were the ocean meets the river is gorgeous. We even saw a large fish in the shallows feeding on the seaweed. We saw the fin which turned out to be its tail and went to investigate.

This is an amazing investment for the Augusta community. It makes whale watching tours so much easier, the boat ramps, parking and facilities are amazing. The water is so clear you can see fish and stingrays in the water and you can fish off the marina rocks. Excellent.
