I used to like coming to Black and Blue but no more. When our party of 10 arrived, we were seated in a nice spot and a waitress came over and said she'd be our server. Then 2 minutes later, a better dressed and "experienced" waitress came over and said she'd be our server. It was obvious we were there not as "regular people" but on business expense so they swapped her out.She then began to recommend $200-$300 bottles of wine which really shocked me. I don't care whether I'm on company expense or not, I spend responsibly.First the soup came. It was about 3 ounces of soup served on a dinner-plate sized bowl. Looked pretty ridiculous if you asked me. It could certainly have been more generous. The taste was fine. I ordered the flounder, and it was the blandest piece of fish ever. Flounder is a delicate fish and should never be breaded and pan fried. What I got was dry and tasteless, completely destroying it. Might as well have gotten fish and chips. The $13 side dish of carrots was ridiculously overpriced. I mean, carrots? Everything was overpriced. Don't waste your money here.Anyhow, for a restaurant purporting to be good at steak and seafood, I'm not coming back again to spend good money on pretentious service and food.Thank you for sharing your review, we would like to apologize for the poor experience you've described, we would love to learn a little more about it. Jimmy's Steer House

My family has been coming to Jimmy’s for decades. It’s casual yet has quick service. I noticed that one website claimed that they take reservations, but that is not true. The parmigiana entrees are all great (eggplant, chicken) but the veal is our top favorite. If you’re not ordering apps & drinks, you can get full on ~$20 per head. The salad that comes with the entree is a good size; plenty of bread etc. If you want to skip the linguine, they offer a vegetable medley which is very good.Very accessible with off street parking. All around I highly recommend this place.
