I was pleased to see this place went above and beyond state mandates including: -limiting the number of tickets sold (there were long lift lines that were more bc of the lack of trails being open bc of lack of snow) -spacing out the parallel lift lines that fed into one -no indoor seating -no indoor food seating (kids enjoyed eating I'm the back of the suv) -seperating bathroom stalls so every other one could be used -cresdit cards only -rechargable cards We'll be back this year!

Took kids to the ski school for first time ever lesson.Every person we dealt with, the kid that gave us rental boots, the girl in the rental shop, the coordinator for children’s lessons, and the instructor, were super helpful and patient, and got kids onto the mountain to get a lesson. kids and parents were nervous and everyone at shawnee had a been there done that attitude (like teachers) that got the kids out there. i really can’t stress enough how good the ski school people made me feel.

We ve been season pass holders for the last 4 years. At the end of the season they have a sale for the passes at a great rate They have the best snow making capacity in the poconos hands down There are times when it gets crowded but I have never waiting more than 12 or 15 min to get on a lift. A lot of complainers out there. This is a local gem. Varied terrain Slopes are rarely overcrowded Yeah if you show up there at noon on a Saturday there are going to be people there (let’s be real ). Overall the slopes almost always have good cover on them The ski shop is great very knowledgeable staff and VERY friendly They have a great ski demo program too Ski instruction there is top notch Looking forward to buying another season pass at the end of the season

Camelback once again came through, as the leading resort in PA! Our family of 5 had a fantastic 3 day trip. This was our children’s first time skiing. Additionally, for our family, it was the first time vacationing in over a year due to COVID restrictions in NJ, preventing teachers from leaving the State. We were so pleased with the protocols and cleanliness of Camelback. Next Winter can’t come soon enough!!! The rental ski shop was great. Lines moved very quickly. The staff was great and very knowledgeable. There was plenty of room to try on your boots and plenty of lockers for your personal possessions. Shout out to Ryan for fitting our children properly and not having to return for swapping out equipment. Friendly, efficient, and inexpensive rentals on property made our trip so easy! Camelback Resort was fantastic, as they held our skis for the duration of our 3 day stay. I highly suggest the kids’ ski lessons. Their knowledgeable instructors possessed the patience needed for helping children. The kids loved them! Above all, we appreciate the time you took to work with our disabled daughter. Thank you so much for building her confidence! Overall the ski conditions were excellent! The lift lines ran smoothly and efficiently with COVID restrictions practiced and safe social distancing. The chair lift operators were wearing mask and very helpful with our first time skiers, on and off the lifts. I highly recommend Camelback Mountain Ski Resort for an amazing ski trip and vacation! Great job!????????????????
