Pelletteria de Nicola Massimiliano

My husband and I each bought a leather jacket from this store. It's great quality and beautifully made. I really hadn't intended on buying a leather jacket this trip (it is summer!), but so happy I did. The owner was incredibly nice and helpful, making sure we were in love with our choices. Highly recommend a stop here if you are looming for a high quality leather jacket at a reasonable price!

Took the 9:12am train from Livorno on a Saturday. (Boat was supposed to dock at 9am, but arrived early, so got off and rushed to train station). At train station in Florence, there was a representative with "The Mall" sign who showed us how to get to the bus terminal (across the street). We took the 11am bus to The Mall for €13 roundtrip. Bus was airconditioned with free WiFi - very convenient. The bus drops you off right in front of Gucci and it departs every 30 minutes for Florence. Gucci had a line that took about 15-20 minutes to get in. The store is three levels with shoe, clothing, and purses departments. We bought two pairs of shoes and a pair of pants. Good selection and appeared to have most shoe sizes. Prada is two levels with shoes and purses on the first and clothes on the second. Tried on a lot of shoes, but didn't buy any. Did buy a purse. Valentino had limited selection of shoes. YSL very limited selection of purses (colors I didn't really like) and only small sizes of shoes. There was a line to get in. We ate at the cafe, which had great food. I could have spent more time here, but was worried about getting back to the boat on time, so we left at 3:30pm. I definitely will go back.
