A tiny shop overflowing with delicious treats! Homemade with love over many generations, I have been going to Wertz my whole life. Watching them make the caramel corn in the front window is a must see! Many varieties of chocolates including custom made chocolate items for gifts. If you are downtown in Lebanon, you must stop by Wertz candies!

Lebanon Farmers Market

Reviewed By 590JackK - Lebanon, United States

The only bad thing about this place is that it's only open Thursday through Saturday. One of the great things is that it's open all year. When you walk in, you get the feel of a real old-time market, with different areas of food offered, from fruit and vegetables to all sorts of lunch abd dinner foods. There's also a great area with lots of choices for breads and pastries and candies. Further back, there are vendors selling flowers, and upstairs is an eating area where one might like to eat Sushi/Asian food, or just have a sandwich made down stairs and go up to eat it. There's so much choice here, it would take quite a bit of space to list everything that's sold. By the way, the staff at each of the booths is quite friendly, courteous, and helpful. It is helpful to know that the market does not accept credit cards. It only takes cash and, I think, checks. Parking here is at a premium, so it would probably help if you got there early before the big crowds, especially on Saturday. If you haven't been here, you have to try it. I guarantee you'll want to return.
