We ate at El Manglar last night and positively loved it. The steak was perfectly done and the accompanying mashed potatoes and beans were delicious. The Healthy Pita Wrap was amazing - beyond expectations. And service from Angie was amazing - she knows just how much attention to provide, and she is a lovely warm person. The setting is so cozy - loved it! Can be a bit hard to find, but it is worth the search!Thank you for dining with us! I ate garlic shrimp. They were a bit overcooked for my taste, but still tasty. It was served with rice and fresh cooked vegetables: a nice assortment. Others ate steak was excellent. Another had a personal size pizza which was still large enough to share. It was thin crust with not a lot of sauce.

Whilst hard to find, this restaurant is worth finding for the location alone. Combined with great food this place should not be missed.Ceviche was really good, as was the beef carpaccio. The Tico was also tasty.My daughter opted for a pizza, whilst my son had the Tuna Steak, cooked rare. Both were outstanding.I guess itâs pricey for Costa Rica, but comparable to UK prices, but the setting was stunning.

We had lunch here and ordered fish tacos (delicious!!!), pizza (Hawaiian and 10 pies) and a quinoa bowl and everyoneâs food was very good. Half way through our lunch some monkeys decided to come out of the trees and run along the power lines which was very exciting for us to see. Service was quick and the prices are super reasonable!

You'd be hard pressed to want to go here for any other reason except that you are already in the area doing something else as it's very far from a main paved road...in fact it's about 12 miles down a rutted dirt road if coming from the Tamarindo area. We were in the area looking at nearby housing developments and stumbled across the Tiki bar when driving along the beach road. This area is very popular for surfers..more so than Tamarino as the waves are much better. The Tiki hut is perfectly situated along the beach, in the center of the surf action. The place is quite nice, plenty of seating both inside and outdoor, people are friendly. We didn't eat (only drinks) but saw many other's who appeared satisfied so I wouldn't hesitate to give it a go for food.

The two gentlemen that own this b and b along with gourmet dining have the most excellent taste, service and meals. The dishes are all hand crafted gourmet, organic specialty each night. Must have reservations. Seating by the pool. Lovely, Sophisticated, Fine Dining without the attitude....and I should know! I am from San Francisco! This place is pure pleasure, class and delish!

No beach front restaurant but it's just step. No many restaurants in the area of San Juanillo but is the cheapest place for good food. Running for a local family, very fast to serve. The Fried fish is good and fresh, open air soda, Find a great diversity of dishes.
