It was a very happy evening meal with nice ambience on the waterfront. The owner was friendly and attentive and made helpful suggestions. We enjoyed marinated octopus and tzatziki to start with both well crafted, complemented by a half litre of very drinkable local house wine. This was followed by the house special salad and seafood risotto both of which were distinctive and flavoursome. The price was good value for a very good meal. Thanks a lot for your word's! We'll be happy to see you again if you decide to visit eretria once again!

Good food and service. All the standard Greek fare. Wasn't crowded even on the weekend and we enjoyed the tables right next to the beach. It is a friendly place. We ate sardines and mousaka, which is a local Greek cuisine. White vine was served in a half liter carafe.

We had a good diner there... The view is beautiful, the food was good...that's it. Communicate with the 'old Greeks' is sometimes dificult.. they don't understand what you want exactly... so you have to point it on the menu... The apetizers was good ! the chicken on the grill was a bit 'dry' The mossaka was good and juicy... Probably one of the best restaurants on the 'promenade' in Eretria

We visited the restaurant âYialosâ which is by the small port near the fishing boats of Amarynthos in Euboea. It is on the coast next to the seafront and it is owned by Nikos Gregoriou.The atmosphere was magic under the full August moon. I asked for one portion of seafood (pikilia) which means a plate with a variety of dishes which included fresh fried squid, crab salad, one huge mussel, olives, fish, and one or two other things which I cannot remember. I was amazed because it was quite big and everything was tasty. This costs just 6 euro.I had a small bottle of ouzo for 6 euro, and my husband had a bottle of beer for 2 euro. Saganaki shrimps (shrimps in tomato sauce with cheese) cost 7 euro here and French fries 2.5 euro. A portion of either chough or chevron costs 6 euro.Out of curiosity I asked the cost of fresh squid and I was told that they cost 35 euro, but of course there are other dishes to choose from if somebody finds this expensive.The owner, Niko brought me a plastic bag with the fresh squid to see and he was right. They were really fresh.Next to the restaurant there is a nice café-bar which belongs to the family. There are umbrellas and the bar has anything one can ask for. In all I find the spot wonderful for an outing and I highly recommend it especially during the summer months.I would surely return here with friends this time.

fresh fish, nice service , right in front of the water.We enjoyed our meal, and the wine was ourstanding. Our hotel porto evia is located within 2 minutes from the restaurant, and also there are other bars to follow a drink or a coffee after our meal. We recommend it.

We have been visiting this place the last three years when travelling from athens to the south of evoia.We are always enjoying its fresh fish-most of the times-quick service and fair wine.Prices are a bit high, but acceptable.Overall a place to spend a chill and quality lunch or dinner!
