The building is called "Dom Ogrodnika" (Gardener's House), but the restaurant located in it is called "Gościniec Ogrodnika" (Gardener's Inn). The building is all wooden, and apparently listed - I believe everything in Opinogóra museum park is listed. Nicely located in the middle of the park, just alongside the Orangery - glassed building on the side of the ponds.This is one of two food options inside the museum park in Opinogóra Górna, the other one is in new educational complex just below the Castle. Food quite simple but tasty. No queues when we got there, thou nearly all seats were taken. Food arrived faster than we thought. Cash only.

"The Poles love their pizza. I think we have more pizza places than Italy!" That was what a local told us, and I think she was right. There are pizza places all over Poland. In Ciechanow, this is a local favorite. You can get pizzas that are just plain HUGE, and they are very tasty too. The value is tremendous, and the pizzas are as well.

Kaczka (meaning duck) is located on the outskirts of Ciechanow but with easy access
from the road to Plonsk and then Warsaw. We were there for a family gathering
of about 15. We arranged the food ahead of time.
In short: the food was excellent but the service was terrible.
We had a range of appetizers including salads and cold cuts.
All were very good. For the main course we had excellent duck.
Both the food and the presentation were on par with much more expensive
restaurants we visited in Warsaw.
The service, as is the case in many Polish restaurants
was terrible. It took 15 minutes for the two waiters to open
a bottle of (otherwise excellent) Italian wine. The waiters
did not know that the 85 years old grandma should be served first or
that the empty glasses should be re-filled.
The owner needs to do a better training of his personnel.

Good but service was slow. Takes more than one hour to get our food. But the food was good. And we Will visit this restaurant not with a big group anymore.

I have chosen this restaurant because it was on the way of my business trip. It was big mistake. Prices are high and food not so tasty. I wanted to order speciality of this restaurant which was recommended in menu- duck dumplings. Not available. Another try with juice- only one within a few in menu available. Misunderstanding. I have got higher bill than it should- 1 eur more but still it is a theft. Interior of this restaurant is completely without any taste- awful.
Avoid this place.

Naprawdę warto to miejsce odwiedzić, bo jest smacznie. Jedyny mankament to obsługa, kelnerki się tak ruszają, że wstaję od stolika i sama zamawiam przy kasie jedzenie. Naleśniki i te wytrawne i na słodko pyszne, sałatka cezar niezbyt dobra, ale inne sałatki bardzo wyszukane smaki.

Fantastic restaurant! Food is amazing, staff is very friendly and atmosphere is nice. Would definitely come back again. I never had such good pizza in my life. Love it

Nie polecam. Rozumiem, że jest tam ruch bo jest tanio ale niedosmażenie kurczaka to już wymaga sporego "talentu";) Obsługa niezbyt sprawna.
