The service was fantastic! Fast, professional, very attentive. The food was delicious and the portions were huge! The Greek Salad was more than enough for 2 people. The lettuce, tomatoes, cucumbers were all really fresh. Also had a schnitzel which included a full plate of fries, rice, cooked vegetables.
We really appreciated their non-smoking rooms. Very pleasant atmosphere. After dinner it was fun to walk around the ponds, see the swans, deer, pea fowl, and the trees in full Spring bloom! Very nice all the way around. We stopped during a 6 hour trip and we were served, ate, and walked around in an hour. We will definitely be stopping there when we go thru the area again. It's very relaxing and a nice break in addition to great food.

I was here to accompany my wife and son visit relatives in Republic Srpska and this pizzeria was located nearby.
Their house special 'adagio' and 'funghi' pizzas were great! Home made dough ! Put lots of other cafes in Melbourne to shame.
I had them takeaway. I didn't like most of the cafe environments in Serbia & BiH as they allowed smoking both in and out of the cafe

Libertas

This place really stands out in Bijeljina. It's a massive, modern looking establishment with a very large outdoor Seating area. I stopped in early on a Saturday morning for some breakfast. The waiter was friendly and always there when you needed him. I ordered a couple cups of domaca kafa and the Dorucak Libertas for 7 marks. It only took them a few minutes to prepare it. It consisted of two hashbrown looking things that were filled with cheese, two eggs, some sausages, some break and a couple mushrooms. It was delicious! I will visit Libertas again!

We enjoyed a pleasant day next to the swimming pools. Children were very happy playing in the water and on the playground. It was rather crowded and required some patience to get served but to my opinion mainly because the owner should employ more staff. Currently working vaitors were very friendly and doing their best to keep us content.
We will be going there next summer for sure.

Pet Jezera

A business colleague and friend took us to this nice restaurant at the outskirt of Bijeljina for an early lunch. Their menu is extensive and you can find meat and fish. In Bijeljina and overall Semberija area you can find also a wide choice of river fish on menu. I went for grilled squids which were very good (this is my preference when it comes to sea food). A bowl of lettuce I ordered with my main course was very large and probably could feed a person for a lunch. We enjoyed very good white wine. Interior is very nice and I believe it becomes really cozy and enjoyable with live music but this happens in the evenings. Around the restaurant itself there are few ponds ("lakes") and the owner makes efforts to make the ground fit for walks and jogging. This is still in process of development but I believe by summer 2016 (in a few months time) it all will be green and lovely. next to the restaurant is impressive residence of the local ortodox head, with gold plated domes. On the other side flat agricultural land. For the prices I would position this restaurant at mid-range class.
