Look no further Parays Animal Sanctuary can offer you a very unique opportunity to see and interact with real live lions. Situated just 21 km outside Lusaka (on the road to Mumbwa/Mongu) you will find us. The lions are open most week days with the exception of Mondays and Tuesday and all weekend, along with the perfect picnic spot! (Usually closed on weekdays unless by prior arrangements)

Went there with my mum who was visiting for a long weekend. Spent great time doing a little safari and enjoying the company of the cheetahs. The team at cheetah walk is great, they share the story of how and why the cheetahs are there and it’s q great opportunity to get up and close to these beautiful animals.

Our visit to kalimba was very lovely, the outside space is beautiful and very covid secure. The crocodiles were fascinating and I learned a lot about the different snakes. The cafe sells snacks and we bought crocodile meat and kudu home for the freezer to braai later.

Its a nice place to be, it more like zoo and you can enjoy watching lions, and other animals which are not common in the nation park. its a quiet place more like a bush though just near the main road, any vehicle you may use it will be easy for you to reach the place
