This waterfall lies towards the southern trough of ranchi plateu , around 60km from Ranchi in the Chaibasa Route. The spectacular Saranda Forest with the trademark sal trees , start roughly from this place.What makes this fall, special among the other waterfalls of Ranchi , is the brilliant reflection of sunrays, after noon, which gives a golden appearance to the basalt rocks... If u enjoy watching the might of turbulent water, visit this place in monsoon. Winter mornings will provide view of a gentle waterfall amongst misty saal forest. However for someone , who seeks solace in serenity, spring is the best time , when Palash starts blooming and the place is completely deserted..

A new luxury hotel was opened at Ghatsila, near ratmohona, bank of river swarnarekha . beauty full view of river swarnarekha you can see from its room. front side river view and back you can see the forest and hills.

Here I am giving a complete view on Ghstsila trip ,Stay,Travel cost and Food guide.Uploaded only necessary pictures. Stay : Ghatshila is very small town and there are many hotel nearby station and around which can be from 400- 1200.In case going with Family don't choose anything else then below three 1- Ramkrishna Ashram 400 per head including food ( Breakfast Lunch Snacks Dinner) Booking 9471794243. 2- Hotel Bhibuti Bihar per day 800-1200 without food.They have their website for booking. 3- Aranyak Resort near Burudi lake .10 km far from Main Ghatshila .It's in Digha village.It has breath taking view but it costly like 2.5 K.Food aswell costlier like any resturant in Kolkata. I have given one more guest house here As a picture if it's boys group then can stay as its beside Subarnarekha.Its cheap aswell. Day Trip/ Auto: Near station you can hire Auto they have fixed price normally local sightseeing and Burudi lake / Dharagiri falls take 1200 .Each Auto can carry 8 -9 person. I have given few contact as a picture check that if you prebook them from Ramkrishna Ashram you will get better deal.Its half the price. In local sightseeing all Spot like are good for nothing.Except Dharagiri falls Burudi lake. Phuldungri pahar , Bibhutibhushan house , Library , Hindusthan Copper ,Raj estate are ok ok.I don't want to visit next trip ....But Burudi n Dharagiri ..yes can go again and again. If you have time and wanted to skip irrrelavant then can plan Burudi Dharagiri Galidigh Dam Subarnarekha. Food :I would suggest must have lunch at Burudi there are many jhoops or small hotel who can cook for you. Thali 50 ( Rice Daal Bhaji Sabji Chutney papad) Desi chicken 4 pc 100 INR. Must try their desi Chicken.You reach order your food any of hotel and go to Dharagiri falls.When return after 1.5 hr have it or pre book at the number where we had(7257822686). ###This guy can arrange you tent on Burudi Dam with 300-400 per ⛺. Only thing go for it if it's boys group.
