D’Topeng Kingdom Museum

Reviewed By indahaart - Batu, Indonesia

Well, this is my first post here and I thought it would be good to share to all of you. First destination was Museum Angkut (kind of unique transportation all around the world). I had so much fun here, in museum angkut because the entertainment show pretty amazing *lol*. Besides, I found something interesting. Something that I didn't expect it before. It was Museum Topeng or D'topeng Kingdom Museum which was one of the Museum of culture in Museum Angkut. So, this museum had many collection of artefact of ancient culture not only topeng (topeng means mask in bahasa) . Anyway, my first impression it's gonna be boring but rather than that it's pretty amazing and historical. I learned of Indonesian Culture such as batik, traditional dance, the history of Panji and Dewi Sekartaji, Majapahit kingdom known as The biggest and largest hindu empire in archipelago, then the oldest of collection here, named Leti (a statue from Maluku, it's about 2000y.o). It's a nice place, the staff were friendly. They told you about all of the history of the tools here (yeah, I asked her to explain one by one). Museum Topeng or D'topeng Kingdom museum is a worth museum to visit.
