Went there for some deserts that tasted so bad we couldnât even eat them. We asked the waiter if we could pay for one as weâd eaten part of it and as the other was untouched we asked for a refund. The waiter went to ask the manager and came back saying no, we then asked to speak to the manager directly and no manager showed up...I donât even think there was a manager in the restaurant at the time... after waiting for about an hour for the manager to show up (were the only people left in there) we decide to leave and find all the staff round the other side of the building trying to avoid helping us and just waiting for us to get bored and leave. Seriously disappointing service, will not be visiting there again. THE ONLY REASON THIS RESTAURANT IS HIGHLY RATED IS BECAUSE THE OFFER FREE INCENTIVES FOR GOOD REVIEWS.Hey Jack H!Thanks for your review here. Let me ask you some questions to enlighten your point (on our side).1. Could you please mention what day & time your visit was?2. Which dessert you've ordered which tasted so bad, and you've couldn't even eat them / and you left it untouched. (what a disgrace to have it on our menu. uuurgh!) We went here the other night and had chips with cheese dip, guacamole. We ordered tacos and quesadillas. The food was quite good and the servings were large. I had the fish tacos and really enjoyed them. Homemade chips were very good. However I think that the margaritas are made with fake alcohol. They were extremely strong. My friend and I ordered fruit margaritas blended first and they were very very strong and then I ordered a regular margarita and it tasted like rubbing alcohol. Cut with methanol? Not sure but was undrinkable. Avoid the alcohol here at all costs. Dear guest,Thank you that you really loved our food, but it's a shame that you are accusing us for mixing methanol in our Margaritas.If you would have informed our manager with your complaint directly ,he would have taken your drinks from the bill and explained you the following.We and many other restaurants stopped using the imported brands like Jose Quervo, Cointreau, Chivas Regal , Gordon's etc, because imported liquor prices have skyrocketed with the new government taxes in place.Because of that , there's a lot of FAKE IMPORTED LIQUOR nowadays on the market so there's almost no way to tell the difference between real or fake imported liquor anymore . For us better safe then sorry. We also don't use cheap Arak for our cocktails like many other irresponsible owners do. Because of the above , we decided to use liquors of some of the biggest trustworthy brands in Indonesia , Bali Moon and Vibe, so we can still sell our cocktails for a very affordable price and be sure that it's legitimate.And yes our Margaritas are strong because we use a large 50ml shot. Most guests appreciate that and you are the 1st guest in 6 years time since opening , to have it rather watered down.Management LA MEXICANA

Came here because of all the great reviews on 21st August. Me and my girlfriend both ate the carne asada, hers in the tacos, mine in the burritos. Four hours later it was clear we both had food poisening. Won't give all the details but it was pretty nasty. I thought at the time the meat tasted a little funny but passed it off as the flavour. It ruined the last 2 days of our trip. Definitely was the meat as we had both only eaten bread and fruit that same day. This place need to check how old their meat is.Dear Drokari, we are genuinely upset to hear that such a thing occur to you. Events like these are regarded with the highest level of concern, so we are all ears to all the details â and we will investigate the issue with serious eyes. At the same token, we are grateful for your reaching out to us to address the issue.Weâve looked into all of the orders for dishes containing beef that day and so far, we havenât received or noted any other customer complaints besides yours.We always maintain the highest standard of hygiene and sanitation, and as a result, we almost never come across cases of food poisoning directly related to how we treat our ingredients. We base this account on the assumption that since we make our food in small batches daily, an individual case could therefore be highly unlikely.Most of the time, these cases can be traced back to either a case of an intolerance of some kind to one of our ingredients â be it dairy, gluten, or perhaps an allergen unbeknownst to the person (hence our staff will always ask for known food allergies).Anyhow, we have isolated ingredient samples for the carne asada; and weâll be preparing them for further investigations.We are ostensibly very upset to hear about your incident, and we are doing all we can on our part to identify the culprit. However, as we always treat storing and preparation in small batches daily with the highest possible standard, we are perplexed with your case. The Loft is buzzing with light conversation and the sound of passing traffic. Located on the same street as Batu Bolong Beach, The Loft offers a lovely ambiance and tasty food and drinks. There is an assortment of veggie selections as well as wellness drinks including fresh juices, kombuchas, and plant milk lattes. This open-aired popular breakfast spot can get a bit crowded, but not too crowded to accumulate a waiting list. I ordered a Charcoal Latte with a shot of espresso + a Vegan Protein Smoothie Bowl! Just walking by and decided to stop in for drinks and dessert. Casual Garden setting with great service. We had fried pineapple rings and homemade ice cream. Their cocktails were excellent and reasonably priced. Most of the items on the menu are less than 100k. Service was friendly and excellent. We will make our way back there to eat dinner that's the food looked really good. Go check it out if you're in the area.

Loved this cute little place right off the main road in Mengwi. It is a very modest place with simple wooden benches. You can see the chef cooking up magic right behind you. Perhaps the best Mexican food we have ever had. The portions are huge and very filling. Wish we could go back every day and try everything they offer! The staff is so friendly and genuinely warm. But the cute little pup they have (Laura I think) steals the show! :-D All in all, we completely agree with all the positive reviews about Sizzle Wraps. It is a fantastic little find. And one that's open till 11:00 PM, a rare thing in Bali. Chef Andy and his entire team, take a bow guys! Absolutely loved your food!!Â
