Riobamba (Spanish pronunciation: [rjoˈβamba], full name San Pedro de Riobamba) is the capital of the Chimborazo Province in central Ecuador, which is located at the Chambo River Valley of the Andes. It is 200 km (120 mi) south of Ecuador's capital Quito and located at 2754 m on the Avenue of the Volcanoes. The city is an important regional transport center as well as being a stop on the Pan-American Highway that runs through Ecuador. Riobamba stands as one of the largest cities in the central portion of Ecuador's Sierra region.

La verdad me acuerdo que hace unos cuantos años atrás era uno de los primeros locales de comida mexicana y era delicioso.La ultima vez que lo visite seguÃa siendo bueno en verdad no tan bueno como lo recordaba, un poco costoso también. en todo caso quede satisfecho, sin embargo note que su decoración, infraestructura y servicio seguÃan tal como cuando era niño y bueno eso puede ser bueno en algunos casos pero en este no ya que se veÃa un poco deteriorado el local.De todas formas lo visitare nuevamente para tener una nueva opinión

If you are looking for traditional American food, Fogon is for you. The nachos are particularly good, and burgers are above average for Ecuador. Don't eat here if you want to experience traditional Ecuador. The brownies are also some of the most American desserts that I have ever had in Ecuador.

Que rica comida por dios!! Burrito Chingon te amo! Super economico, la verdad no me esperaba tan buenos precios, y la atención excelente sobretodo por parte de la dueña, que dulzura de mujer me dejo loco, volveré quizas hoy mismo! Sin duda alguna la mejor opción tex-mex en Riobamba.

Two nights ago we landed in Riobamba for one night, on our way from Quito to Cuenca. Where to eat dinner? No, not in the stuffy hotel. TripAdvisor to the rescue! We didn't want a sports bar, or any kind of bar...I'd had dental work, and missing some molars needed to find a place that served soups and/or stews. But the recommendation for Frida's was so compelling, we walked the 15 blocks up the road and went to Frida's. The lovely waitress (who turned out to be the owner) listened to my needs, and suggested that the quesadilla. Hmmm...I really don't like chicken. Oh, that's OK, we'll serve it to you vegetarian! It was delicious. My husband had chicken burritos. They have awesome homemade salsa. Fresh! Very colorful and Spotless place. Worth a visit. Also have coffee and desserts.
