We wanted to stay here but ended up booked further away. When we had trouble making contact the folks at Pura Vida helped us out with phone calls, local language skills, wi-fi, water, and everything else we needed to start our Costa Rican adenture.

We were in a hurry because we had a night tour waiting, but were served very quickly. We had half a bottle of wine left and it was our last evening, and they allowed to drink our own wine and brought us two glasses. We had very different dishes, shrimps and hamburger, but woth were really delicious, refined and enough! We were really happy about it! The hosts were really friendly. The restaurant was adviced by our tour guide as the one with the most fresh seafood. Prices were right.

Highly recommended if you want a quiet place with a nice atmosphere and really good food. The menue is small but has everything you need from delicious Casado to Specials like fish in coconut sauce or chicken in mango sauce to a Spaghetti Bolognese that was fab! Really great!They serve homemade juice that they freshly produce from pineapple to mango that tastes really great. My husband even said it is the best he ever had!The chef and his wife are very friendly - so we came back night by night.Portions are big and prices more than fair!

We ate several meals at Carey Restaurant during our 8 day stay in Agujitas. The food was well seasoned and flavourful. The portions were generous. In particular we loved the patacones which are the best we have ever had, hands down. We also enjoyed the casado with fish that was uniquely seasoned with a flavorful sauce unusual in Costa Rica in our experience.

After reading many rave reviews on TA I was prepared to have my high expectations disappointed. They were not. Claudio's Grill is not much to look at from the outside and the decor is the only thing I can think of to upgrade. Our waiter was extremely professional and attentive. The menu was packed with diverse temptations. My wife had the Caribbean chicken dish and I had the grilled pork ribs. Both were simply excellent. The flavors were varied and explosive and the meats were cooked to perfection and covered in unique sauces. This restaurant would be among the best in the city where I live (a city with a population twice that of all Costa Rica) but to find it in Drake Bay is quite incredible.

This is a lovely restaurant that we walked to from the beach for a romantic couples dinner. We went with the whole red snapper, deep fried with sides. It was delicious and perfect for two.

Seeing the amazing reviews on TripAdvisor, we felt compelled to try this place. It was a mixed experience. The waiting staff was welcoming and nice. We had spinach and ricotta ravioli, those were excellent, just as good as in Italy, to the placeâs credit. Unfortunately, the tuna in sesame was not. Ordered red, it was delivered massively overdone and basically impossible to eat. At $20, that hurts!Gracias por tú comentario fue un placer haberlos conocido en nuestro restaurante kalaluna Bistro!!! Estamos agradecidos de cualquier manera por su puntuación!!! Y que pena sobre el plato de atún ya que quizás fue un error de comunicación para saber el término que ud habÃan solicitado sobre el atún!!! Sin embargo estaremos atentos siempre a los comentarios para mejorar cualquier punto de vista!!! PURA VIDA COSTA RICA...
